IISER Bhopal conducts the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research exam. This is a national-level exam that is conducted every year. IISER 2023 exam will be conducted in July 2023.

IISER 2023 Application Form
The application form is an essential step that every candidate has to follow to be able to appear for the exam. Ensure you complete the application form correctly and with the correct information.
The applicants who would not fill out the application form would not get admit cards and will not be allowed to appear for the exam. All the other details about the IISER 2023 application form are given below.
- The application form for the IISER 2023 will be available online on the official website.
- The start date to submit the application form for JEEAdvanced is May/June 2023, for the KVPY channel is May 2023, and for the Aptitude test, it is the Last week of May 2023.
- The last date to submit the application form for JEE Advanced is June 2023, KVPY is June 2023, and the Aptitude test is the 1st week of June 2023.
- One candidate can fill in only one application on the online website.
- Upload all the documents mentioned in the application form without any mistakes.
- Fill in the information on the application form very carefully so that you do not face any problems in the future.
- Your details, such as Name, Date of birth, and address, will be filled in without mistakes.
- Make sure to upload the documents required in the application, which should be in the format prescribed in the form.
- Do not forget to note down your registration number, User ID, and Password, as they will be used in the processes ahead.
- Make sure to take out the printout of the application form after you have submitted it online.
- No Candidates have to send a hard copy of the form anywhere.
IISER 2023 Application Fee
The application Fee is an essential step that no candidate can miss. All the candidates who will be filling out the application forms will have to pay the application fee as well as their category.
It is mandatory to pay the application fee; if the candidate fails, their application form would be cancelled. The application fee for IISER 2023 is given below.

- The fee for SC/ST/PWD and Kashmiri Migrants is- INR 1000/-
IISER 2023 Application Form Correction
The exam authority for the IISER exam provides an application form correction facility to candidates. But there is some information which cannot be changed.
The candidates cannot change their name, category, exam centre, etc., but they can change other information like caste certificate, etc. You can get all the details on the official website when you go there to edit your application form.
IISER 2023 Eligibility Criteria
Eligibility criteria are set by the exam conducting authority for every candidate who will appear for the exam. It is advised that the candidates check the eligibility criteria before filling out the application form.
The eligibility criteria are the same for every candidate applying for the exam. Each candidate has to follow the criteria. The IISER 2023 eligibility criteria are given below.
General Eligibility criteria
Nationality
The candidates must be Indian or PIO, or OCI.
Educational Qualification
Candidates should be 12th pass or passed an equivalent level exam with science stream in 2022 or 2023 from any recognized board organized by CBSE.
Qualifying Subjects
Candidates must have passed the 12th class with at least three subjects from Chemistry, Physics, Maths, and Biology.
Qualifying Marks
Candidates from OBC and ONC-NCL categories should have scored at least 60% in aggregate or Equivalent grades.
And for SC/ST/PWD candidates, it is 55%.
Channel Wise Criteria
- KVPY Channel: In this category, candidates need to have a valid KVPY fellowship commencing in -21. Candidates will also have to meet cut-off criteria, which will be applicable (in addition).
- JEE Advanced Channel: Candidates of the general category must qualify for JEE Advanced and obtain a rank within 10000 in Common Rank List (CRL). The category rank will be considered for SC/ ST/ PWD/ OBC-NCL categories.
- SCB Channel Qualification: Candidates must have passed/appearing the intermediate examination with the science stream in 2023.
Cut Off
- Mandatory (SCB): Candidates must score more or equal cut-off percentages on their respective boards.
- Cut-off (SCB): The cut-off percentage for intermediate prescribed by the board must be obtained to be eligible.
- Appling (SCB): Students applying through the SCB channel will have to appear in IISER Aptitude Test
IISER 2023 Exam Pattern
The exam pattern consists of all the essential information related to the exam. It contains information needed y every candidate while they prepare for the exam. Ensure you do not miss the exam pattern while preparing for the exam.

IISER 2023 Admit Card
The candidates who would have filled out the application form and paid the application fee are the only ones who will get access to their admit card. The admit card for IISER 2023 would be released in June 2023.
The candidates can access their admit card online on the official website only. All the candidates can download the admit card by filling in their login details. The candidates must take a printout of their admit cards because they must carry it to the exam hall. And if they fail, they will not be allowed to give exams.

IISER 2023 Answer Key
The answer key for IISER 2023 will be released a few days after the exam. It will release on the second of July, 2023. All the candidates can access the answer key online on the official website.
The answer key would be in pdf format, and candidates can download it. If any candidate has any issue with the answer key, they can inform the exam authorities. The candidates will be provided with the objection facility, and after all the issues are cleared, the final answer key would be released.
IISER 2023 Merit List/Result
The IISER 2023 result will be released in August 2023. All the candidates can access their results online on the official website. They will need to enter their roll number and registration id as well.
The candidates who score high marks and more than the cut-off will be short-listed on the merit list. The seat allotment of the short-listed candidates would be done based on the merit list.
IISER 2023 Cut-Off
The candidate appearing in the IISER 2023 exam through the SCB channel must clear the cut-off marks. The cut-off marks would be released on the official website only, and the candidates from the SCB channel need to score more than the cut-off.

IISER 2023 Counselling/Admission Procedure
50% of seats of IISER institutions would be filled based on JEE Advanced and KVPY scores. And the remaining seats would be filled by the SCB channel based on the aptitude test of IISER.
