The Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore, has announced the IISc BS Eligibility Criteria 2025 for entrants intending to enrol in their undergraduate program.

IISc BS 2025 Eligibility Criteria put aside the parameters and conditions that contenders must fulfil before filling out the application form.

The Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore, holds admission for the Bachelor of Science (BS) graduate degree program, and to pursue admission, candidates must clear either KVPY, JEE Main, JEE Advanced, or NEET.

Academic Criteria for IISc BS 2025

• Contenders would have succeeded their II PUC / 12^th Standard in 2025.
• Those contenders who are supposed to finish their II PUC / 12th Standard in 2025 are qualified.
• It is mandatory for the contenders to have studied Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as compulsory subjects during their II PUC / 12th Standard.
• Contenders who have studied Biology, Statistics, Electronics, Computer Science, etc., along with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics, are also entitled to apply.
• The contenders must have ensured a first-class or 60% or corresponding grade (relaxed to pass class for SC/ST contenders) in the II PUC / 12th Standard examination.

Entrance Exam: Contenders will be designated by clearing any of the examinations that are given below in the table.

Reservation Criteria

In line with the regulations of the government of India, seats will be kept for Schedule Caste, Schedule Tribe, Other Backward Class, Person with Disability, and Kashmiri Migrants.

The choice will be made on the merit lists of the contenders by the entrance exam they have applied through and the category.
