IIM Shillong 2025 Application Form has been Released for Various Courses. Indian Institute of Management Shillong, commonly known as IIM Shillong, which is ranked 24th among management institutions in India in NIRF 2019 Rankings. It is the 7th IIM in the household of 20 IIMs established in India so far.

IIM-S offers 2 postgraduate, 1 doctoral, and 1 director program at various management streams. Admission will be carried out on the basis of marks scored in exams that are relating to the CAT, GATE, CMAT or NET. Candidates from other countries should have a valid GMAT and TOEFL/ IELTS score. Candidate’s final selection is subject to past academic records, test scores & GDPI.

Reservation of seats for SC/ ST/ OBC-NC (Non-Creamy) and PwD candidates achieved the rules of Govt of India.

• 15% of the seats for Scheduled Caste (SC)

• The official authorities of the university will conduct the admission procedure in two-phase as mention below:
  • Phase 1: Group Discussion and Personal Interview round (GD and PI) for the nominated applicants.
  • Phase 2: Final Admission Process

The Indian Institute of Management, Shillong has conducted the final placement for its batch of 2016-19 of Post Graduate Programme in Management (PGPM) witnessed the completion of final placements.

The final placement is conducted with average salary going up to Rs.15.5 Lakhs from Rs.14.8 Lakhs and the highest salary of Rs.26 Lakhs from Rs. 24 Lakhs last year.

For PGP 

The selection for PGP courses of IIM Shillong will happen in two rounds. In round 1, candidates were shortlisted for Group Discussion and Personal Interview. In round 2, a merit list will be ready for the final admissions to PGP 2025-26 batch.

For Executive MBA 

• Candidates will be intimated about their selection status over the email.
• Selected candidates will be termed at the institute for further assessment, which would be based on the overall rating decided by the Admissions Committee.
• The assessment would be done on analytical skills, admission test scores, relevant experience & interview.
• The acceptance of background disciplines would be preferred for Engineering, commerce, liberal arts & humanities.

For WE-MBA 

• All candidates applying for it, are required to be eligible for a selection process, which consists of a written test followed by one personal interview.
• A candidate might either apply by providing a fully qualified CAT/ GMAT score or appear for WEMAT (Working Executive Management Aptitude Test) of the Institute (shall be intimated later).
• The eligibility of the nominees would be considered based on information submitted in the application form.
• Candidates need to produce the original academic & work experience records for authentication on the date of Personal Interview.
• The selection at IIM Shillong will be based upon the candidates’ overall rank and the number of seats available for the program and other proper parameters.

For Ph.D.

• Candidates will be nominated based on the admission test scores, Statement of purpose submitted in the application form and upon the availability of seats in the appropriate specialism.
• The shortlisted candidates will be invited for a personal interview and written test (video conferencing if needed) for final selection at a location, decided upon by IIM Shillong.
