IIM Nagpur will conduct an admission procedure for the eligible applicants with an aim to provide admission to the eligible ones in the PGP courses. Educational qualifications:
- Applicants who want to get admission in the PGP course in the institution must have completed SSC, HSC, and a Bachelors degree from a recognized board or university
Qualifying marks:
- General category applicants must score a minimum of 50% marks in the qualifying exam and 45% marks should be scored by reserved category applicants.
Appearing applicants:
- Applicants who are appearing for the final year of the qualifying exam are also eligible to apply for the admission procedure.

IIM Nagpur Selection Criteria 2023 Selection Process
In order to provide admission to the eligible applicants the official authorities have adopted a Three-stages selection process as mentioned below:
Stage 1: Eligibility criteria for admission to PGP 2023-22
The CAT cut-offs shown in the given table will be used for selecting eligible candidates for all subsequent stages. The CAT-2019 score is the single criterion used as the basis for arriving at the first short-list. Only candidates with positive scores (>0) in all sections of the CAT will be considered for the admission process.

Stage 2: Selection of the Candidates for PI / WAT process
CAT Score (CAT)
The CAT Score for each candidate will be computed as the ratio of the total CAT score obtained by the candidate to the maximum total CAT score and scaled between 0-10. It will be computed as follows:

Withdrawal and Cancellation Process
The withdrawal/cancellation of admission offer can happen in multiple ways:
(a) Before First-Term Registration:
- Once the confirmation fee is received by the stipulated date (mentioned in the offer e-mail), the provisional admission offer stands. If payment is not received by the stipulated date, the provisional admission will be canceled.
- If a candidate pays the confirmation fees but still wants to withdraw, he/she may do so by sending an e-mail to the Admission Office. We will then initiate a refund process. The refund of the confirmation fees deposited (after deducting an administrative charge of Rs.1000 or as per prevailing Government of India rules) will be done in July 2023.
- The admission will stand canceled if a candidate doesn’t register at IIM Nagpur on the mentioned registration date and time.
- If a candidate pays the confirmation fees but fails to withdraw within a stipulated date or fails to register for the program, the confirmation fees paid will be forfeited.
(b) After Registration:
- Fees will be collected at the beginning of each term. If a candidate withdraws from the program in any Term after Registration (in the middle of a term), all the fees paid till then will be forfeited, regardless of the number of days remaining in the term, and his/her admission shall stand canceled.
(c) The admission of a candidate stands canceled if he/she provides any false information at any step in the admissions process. No claim for refund of the fee paid till then will be entertained.
Admission Requirement and Eligibility For Overseas Candidates
Entrance Test
The candidate should have a valid Graduate Management Aptitude Test (GMAT) score of at least 650. (The candidate must have appeared for GMAT after January 31, 2015).
Admission Notice
The announcement of admission of overseas candidates to PGP 2023-22 will be prominently exhibited on the IIMN website, i.e., www.iimnagpur.ac.in, and also later on published in multiple leading newspapers in different regions of the country and neighboring countries.
Admission Process
Up to 5 overseas candidates will be admitted to the PGP 2023-22 batch. These five candidates will be selected by a process separate from the Common Application Test (CAT) based process for domestic applicants. The overseas admission process at IIM Nagpur will be conducted in three stages and considers the candidate’s performance in Graduate Management Aptitude Test (GMAT), Academic Performance (AP), Work Experience (WE), Diversity (DI), analytical writing assessment (AWA) and performance in Personal Interview (PI).
Stage 1: Criteria for eligibility to be considered for admission to PGP
Candidates who are eligible to apply to PGP 2023-22 at IIM Nagpur as per Sections 2.1-2.3 and are fulfilling the minimum cut-offs in the sectional percentile and total score in GMAT (Given table) will only be considered for all subsequent stages.

- Academic Performance (AP) – Here, we evaluate the applicants’ academic performance (marks obtained) in the Bachelor’s Degree Examination. The eligible applicants, as identified in Stage 1, will be assigned rating scores as AP based on the percentage of marks obtained in their Bachelor’s degree examinations.

Stage 3: Final Selection of the Candidates
Personal Interview (PI) Score – The performance of the candidates in the personal interview will be considered towards calculating the Final Score (FS). The score will be rescaled between 0 to 10.
GMAT (GMAT) Score – Candidate’s GMAT score, as calculated during Stage 2 of the process, will be used towards calculating the Final Score (FS).
Academic Performance (AP) Score – Candidate’s Academic Performance (AP) score, as calculated during Stage 2 of the process, will be used towards calculating the Final Score (FS).
Work Experience (WE) Score – Candidate’s Work Experience (WE) score, as calculated during Stage 2 of the process, will be used towards calculating the Final Score (FS).

Analytical Writing Assessment (AWA) Score – The GMAT exam consists of four sections: an analytical writing assessment, an integrated reasoning section, a quantitative aptitude section, and a verbal reasoning section. The analytical writing assessment is graded on a scale of 0 (minimum) to 6 (maximum) in half-point intervals. The AWA score of the candidates will be used while calculating FS after rescaling it between 0 to 10.
