IGNOU 2024 Registration Fee

The application fee will be Rs. 300/- for all candidates, and the applicants can make the payment through online mode only by preferring debit card (Master/Visa/Rupay)/ credit card (Master/Visa)/ internet banking and ATM card (PNB).

B.Ed Program: Eligibility

• Applicants with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Technology, Sciences, Social Sciences, Humanities, Commerce, or equivalent with a focus on Mathematics & Science are eligible.
• 50% marks in the relevant Undergraduate (UG) or Postgraduate (PG) degree are required for eligibility. However, candidates with degrees in Engineering/Technology specializing in Science & Mathematics must have secured 55% marks.
• In-service elementary education teachers who have completed an NCTE-recognized teacher education course through face-to-face mode are also eligible.
• Qualification in IGNOU’s B.Ed entrance exam is mandatory for admission.

MBA Program: Eligibility

• Candidates applying for the MBA program need a Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university or institution.
• A minimum of 50% marks in the qualifying Bachelor’s degree (45% for reserved category candidates) is required for eligibility.
• Students in their final semester of the qualifying degree are also eligible to apply.
• Admissions are based solely on merit scores as the OPENMAT exam has been discontinued.

Registration fee, Cancellation of Admission and Refund of Fee

• A non-refundable Registration Fee is charged along with the first semester/year’s programme fee at the time of admission.
• Refund requests for cancellation of application/admission will be processed according to the University’s policy:

Before confirmation of admission:

• Full Programme fee paid shall be refunded.

After confirmation of admission:

• Within 15 days of confirmation of admission: The Programme Fee paid shall be refunded after a deduction of Rs. 500/-.
• Within 16-90 days of confirmation of admission: The Programme Fee paid shall be refunded after a deduction of Rs. 1000/-.
• After 90 days of confirmation of admission: No refund shall be allowed.
