IESO is fully known as International Earth Science Olympiad and originated as one of the most important activities of the International Geoscience Education Organization (IGEO). IESO 2023 Application Process

The student who wants to participate in the IESO 2023 exam needs to fill out and submit the application form. So the applicants will get the details about the process of application in this section.

• A link will be available on the website to download the application form. 
• The downloaded application form needs to be filled out by the applicants will all the required details in it.

• Students will also need to attach their passport-size photographs as required.
• Once the form is successfully filled the students will have to recheck the application form and submit it before the due date.

IESO 2023 Eligibility Criteria

Nationality:

• The students who are Indian citizens are only eligible.

Age:

• The student should not be older than 18 years of age.

Qualification:

• The students who are studying in any one of the IX, X, and XI are eligible to apply.

Recognition:

• The Education should be completed by a recognized State Board, ICSE Board, CBSE Board, or International Board. 

IESO 2023 Entrance Exam 

The details about the IESO 2023 entrance exam are as stated below in this section for the reference of the applicants.

Entrance Exam:

• Duration of Exam: The exam will be held for 90 minutes (one and a half hours). 
• Exam Language: The exam will be held in the English Language.
• Type of Questions: The exam will contain MCQs (Multiple choice questions) that are objective-type questions.
• Syllabus: The exam will contain questions from the syllabus like Geosphere, Atmosphere, Hydrosphere, and Planetary Sciences. 
• Number of Centres: The exam will be held in 75 centres in total. 

Training Camp

• The authority will select 25 students in order of merit who will have to attend the Training Camp. 
• The Training Camp will be held for 25 days.
• Training Camp will contain Lectures, discussions, planetarium visits, lab, and fieldwork. 
• At the end of the camp, the Indian National Earth Science Olympiad will be conducted by the official, and the top 4 students will represent India at the IESO. 

IESO 2023 Results 

The IESO 2023 Exam Results will be solely released by the official authorities of the conducting body. The official authorities will update the complete details about the declaration of the results on the official website soon after the completion of the entrance exam. 

However, applicants must note that they will be able to get the results once the entrance exam has been completed. The official authorities have decided that they will be updated on the IESO 2023 Exam Results on the official website. So the applicants will get the results online mode. 

Applicants must note that there are no other options available for them to get the results in offline mode, so they must visit the official website and download their IESO results. The result will contain applicants’ names and marks secured in the IESO 2023.
