Those candidates are shortlisted for the counseling; they have to check the procedure of counseling, which is mentioned below

• On the basis of the scores, candidates will be shortlisted in the merit list and they will be called for university-based counseling which will hold in the month of July 2024 for both subsidized and non-subsidized seats.
• The counseling procedure is conducted by the Himachal Pradesh University Business School.
• Candidates should be present at the group discussion and the personal interview which is of 10 marks each. The results for the same are declared after a few days only.

HPU MAT 2024 Selection Procedure

Stage 1: HPU MAT exam 2024

It is the aptitude test where the scores of the segments will be well-thought-out for the procedure of the next round. 

Section 1: English Comprehension & Language

This section tests the English language skills of the candidates and contains 50 objective-type questions.

Section 2: Numerical Ability & Data Interpretation

In this part of the paper, the numerical ability and related skills of the applicants will be assessed. This part also contains 50 questions, and all are Multiple Choice.

Section 3: Reasoning

Stage 2: GD & PI for HPU MAT 2024

At this phase of the HPU MAT 2024 Selection Procedure, the seeded aspirants in the round of entrance test will be provided with the opportunity to appear for Group Discussion or GD and Personal Interview or PI rounds.

• For the aspirants who belong to Sc and ST category, there will remain a reservation of 15% and seven and a half seats.
• The students of the colleges will consider the remaining seats which occur as 77 and a half %.
• The entrants who have done graduation from HPU, HP Krishi Vishwavidayalaya Palampur or Dr. Y S Parmar University of Horticulture and Forestry will be given the reservation of 75% in the seats.

The applicants need to carry the following documents such as

• HPU MAT Rank Card
• HP CMAT Hall Ticket with Photocopy
• Original counseling letter along with a photocopy of counseling letter
• Bank draft
• Original Certificate of 10th &amp 12th class and at least 2 photocopies of certificates.
• Original degree/provisional certificate
• Caste certificate SC/ST/OBC/Other signed by the authorized authority
• Medical documents mentioned on HP CMAT Application form
• Passport size photographs at least 4-6 in color and black and white
