HPTU M.Sc. Environmental Science Eligibility Criteria

To apply in this course, applicants must be qualified in three years B.Sc. degree with Botany, Zoology/Biotechnology and Chemistry or B. Sc Non-Medical with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics with a minimum of 50% marks (45% in case of reserved categories) in aggregate in the three years of the degree.

HPTU M.Sc. Environmental Science Merit List 2024

Candidates will be selected on the merit list if they will have qualified marks in their previous qualifying examination or entrance examination.

If two applicants have the same HPCET aggregate marks, the candidate with higher marks in the Law of Motion (section-A) will be ranked above.

If a candidate’s marks in Law of Motion, then a higher Microbes-diversity (section -B) marks would break the tie. If the Microbes-diversity marks are the same, then a higher Element and periodicity (section-C) marks would break the tie.

• Physically Challenged Certificate issued by the Competent Authority, if applicable
• Income Certificate issued by the Competent Authority, if applied under Tuition Fee Waiver Scheme
• An undertaking/affidavit attested by the Executive Magistrate if applied under Beti Hai Anmol Scheme
• Kashmiri Migrants and domicile certificate issued by Competent Authority, if applied under Supernumerary Kashmiri Migrant Quota
• In case an intervening period/gap is involved, a certificate/affidavit issued by a Class-I Gazetted Officer/Notary Public shall be required for the entire intervening period/gap showing the candidate’s preoccupation after leaving the Institution last attended.
