HP SET Eligibility Criteria 2024

Eligibility criteria are the first step if candidates are wishing to get the post of Assistant Professor, so all those applicants are going to fill the Application Form of HP SET; they must have to check their eligibility criteria mentioned below.

• The applicants must have a Master’s degree with a minimum of 55% of marks to be eligible for applying in HP SET and there are minimum eligibility marks required for reserved category and PH candidates of Himachal Pradesh is 50% in Master’s degree.
• Candidates appearing in final-year Master’s degree course are also eligible for the HP SET and they also have to provide the note about they will be qualified in Master’s degree with a minimum of 55% (50% for reserved) marks to be eligible for the award of HP SET certificate.
• Those applicants will have a Masters’s degree with a relaxation of 5% in qualifying marks along with a Ph. Discourse; they also will be eligible to apply in this test.
• Candidates without relevant subjects at the Master’s level can appear for the UGC NET examination, which is conducted twice a year.
• Those who have completed PGDs (Post Graduate Diploma) courses recognized by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) – New Delhi are eligible for HP SET.
