NDA (2) 2024 Online Application Form has been available on 15th May 2024. The National Defense Academy (NDA Exam) is the national exam. This test is done twice in one year. The Public Service Commission of the Union (UPSC) administers the NDA exam. This revision is made for the recruitment in the Defense Forces of India, which include the Indian Army, the Air Force, and the Navy.
Here we mention the detailed information on completing the NDA 2024 application form. The Examination will be held on 21st April 2024 (NDA I) and 1st September 2024 (NDA II). The NDA (I) 2024 application form can be completed until 9th January 2024 (6:00 p.m.). Check here the details of the application.
It is essential to complete the form accurately, otherwise, the form will be rejected NDA 2024 application form. No applications have been provided through offline mode. It will not be necessary to send the application by email or postal mail. Save the printed copy of the application for future use.

Step- 1: Apply online
- Visit the official website (link will be given above).
- Click on the” Online application for various examinations of UPSC.”
- On the upper right side of the web page, there are two links: “PART-I Registration” and “PART-II Registration.”
- Click on Part – 1 Record.
Step- 2: Fill the Application Form
PART-I Registration:
- A new webpage will appear on the screen as you click on the “Part-1 Registration” link. Here, Important Instructions to fill Online Application Form is given.
- Read the instructions carefully and click the ‘Yes’ button at the bottom of the screen.
- Clicking on the ‘Yes’ button takes you to the application form.
- Part-1 registration is divided broadly into four pages.
Page- 1: Details of the candidate (registration)
Enter your personal information
- On this page, the system requests the candidate’s personal information.
- Enter your name, date of birth, father’s name, mother’s name, Aadhaar number (if available), nationality, eligible expenses, community, minority, marital status, etc.
- Enter your qualification details:
- From there, select your qualification details. The drop-down menu indicates four options.
Address:
Enter your full address in the prescribed fields.
The e-mail identification must be valid, and you must also enter your or your parents’ phone number.
After feeding all the details, click on the “Continue” button.
Note: Candidates who belong to SC / ST do not need to pay the application fee on the NDA application form. Those children of ex-military / JCO / NCO and other military ranks are also not required to pay fees for the application form. Suppose these candidates are currently studying at Sainik or a military school. In that case, they must submit the eligibility certificate duly signed by the principals during the SSB interview.
- The candidates who claimed the fee exemption must click on the “YES” response in the Fee Exemption claimed Field. Such candidates are not taken to the payment page.
Page- 3: Verify Your Details
- The candidates can update their details on this page by clicking the ‘Update’ button.
- Verify your details properly; no correction will be allowed after submitting the application form. At last, Mark, I agree/I’m afraid I have to disagree.
Page- 4: Generation of Registration ID
- The candidates can view the system-generated ‘Registration ID’ on this page. This page also shows the candidate’s other details like name, father’s name, DOB, email id, etc.
- The “Part- 1 Registration” of the NDA application form will be completed. The email regarding this will be sent to the candidate’s provided mail id. Now login for the “Part – II registration. “
Note: Do not forget to take the impression of this page. Click on the “Print” option available here. In addition, record the registration ID and date of birth as needed in subsequent steps.
PART-II registration:
It consists of four steps:
Payment of fees
Fill out the option for the exam centre.
Download photography.
Signature load
- Payment can be made by credit/debit card or bank.
- Pay the application fee through the money deposited at an SBI bank branch.
- Candidates can also use any bank’s credit/debit card to pay the fees.
- Internet payments will be made through the Internet Bank of the State Bank of India / Bikaner State Bank & Jaipur / Hyderabad State Bank / Mysore State Bank / Bank of India State of Patiala / State Bank of Travancore.
After payment of the fees, an alert will be sent by SMS to the candidates. Applicants exempt from paying for the application will receive an SMS alert after downloading the images.
Fill Out the Options for the Exam Centers:
Choose the right exam centre based on your ability.
Candidates can choose any examination centre.
Downloading photos:
This step provides you with space to load the image of the photo. Read all instructions carefully before following the loading steps:
- The size of the photograph must be less than 40 kb and greater than 3 kb.
- The image of the photo must be in .jpg format.
- 140 pixels high x 110 pixels wide is required for photography.
- The bit depth of the image file must be 24 bits.
Signature load:
- Put your signature with a black ink pen on a white background.
- The image of the signature must be in .jpg format.
- The signature’s pixel size must be 110 pixels high x 140 pixels wide.
- The signature file size must be less than 40 KB and greater than 1 KB.
- The bit depth of the image file must be 24 bits.
Note: The image preview will be generated after it is loaded. Here, candidates can re-check their uploaded images.
If you are satisfied with the loaded image, click the “Confirm download” button; otherwise, click the “Reload photo / Reload signature” button.
Step 3: Read the declaration and click OK
The application form will be completed after the registration of Part 2 registration. Click on the “I read the declaration, and I accept” button for the final submission of the NDA online form.
