Filling up the Online Application Form 2024

The online filling-up of the Application Form is interactive, and online guidance will be available to the candidate while filling up the form. Please refer to the detailed guidelines for filling out the form.

The filling up of fields will be interactive. As soon as the cursor is taken to a certain field, a cursor tip Message will be shown to the candidate to assist in filling up. In case of difficulty, the Help icon placed right next to the field will redirect the candidate to that section of the Brochure, which deals with the filling up of the said field.

The application form is broadly categorized into three steps:

The application form is divided into three main sections: entering personal information, uploading documents, and making the necessary fee payment. Applicants are required to complete the initial section, which involves entering their details. After this step, they will be guided to the document uploading section. Once the documents are successfully uploaded, the system proceeds to the fee payment stage. Upon successful payment, candidates are advised to generate and retain a printout of the confirmation page for their records. It’s important to note that sending documents by postal mail is not required.

Filling of Personal Details:

  • This initial step involves providing comprehensive personal information. Candidates are required to fill in details such as their name, contact information, address, date of birth, and other relevant personal particulars as requested.

Document Uploading:

  • After completing the personal details section, candidates will upload the necessary documents. These documents may include scanned copies of photographs, signatures, and other relevant certificates or documents specified by the application guidelines.

Fee Payment:

  • The final step in the application process is the payment of the application fee. Candidates are required to complete the fee payment process as per the guidelines provided. Payment is typically made online through specified modes such as debit/credit cards, net banking, etc.

By following these three steps—filling in personal details, uploading necessary documents, and completing the fee payment—the candidates can successfully submit their application for NATA 2024.

Step-1 Application Form

The process of filling in the fields within the application form is interactive, providing cursor tip messages upon field selection to assist applicants. Should candidates encounter any difficulties, a help icon positioned adjacent to each field will redirect them to the relevant section in the Brochure for guidance on completing that specific field. It’s essential to note that certain applicant details—such as the candidate’s name, father’s name, mother’s name, date of birth (as per Class-10 records), and postal address—must be unique for each application.

During the submission of personal details, candidates will be prompted by the system to enter their email address, which will serve as the user name. The system will verify the candidate’s email by sending a verification link. Candidates are required to choose and safeguard a password securely for future use. Additionally, the system will prompt candidates to create a security question and answer pair, which they need to remember for the retrieval of their password if forgotten later.

  • After successful completion, candidates will receive an email containing their NATA Unique ID number and login credentials.
  • Using these credentials, candidates can perform several tasks:
    • Access and edit personal information (up to the document upload stage).
    • Upload images required for the application process.
    • Make fee payments through the Electronic Payment Gateway (EPG).
    • Print the Confirmation Page for their records.

  • Submitting multiple Application Forms using altered credentials by the same candidate will result in rejection without any refund. The Council reserves the right to take appropriate legal action against candidates engaging in such practices.

Upon successfully uploading their PERSONAL DETAILS and DOCUMENTS, candidates will be directed to the webpage for processing the application fee payment. The options for payment include:

  1. Payment through EPG (Electronic Payment Gateway): By selecting the “Payment of fee using EPG services,” the candidate will be automatically redirected to the available payment gateway page displayed on the website. They can conveniently choose to pay the application fee via an electronic payment gateway using debit cards, credit cards, or net banking. Following the online instructions, the candidate can complete the payment process. Upon successful payment, the payment gateway will redirect the candidate to the homepage, indicating the status of the fee payment. After this, the candidate will be able to generate and print the final “Confirmation Page.”

Step-4 Confirmation Page (Proof of Registration)

After the successful payment of the Application Fee, the system generates the Confirmation Page, indicating the candidate’s successful registration for NATA 2024. Candidates must take a printout of this Confirmation Page and maintain it for future reference. However, it’s important to note that presenting the printout of the Confirmation Page won’t grant access to the Test Centre for the examination.

Candidates must further select the city and session to finalize the test slot and generate an Appointment for the examination. This step is essential to secure a specific test slot for the NATA exam.

Step-5 Discrepancy and Correction

Candidates are required to ensure accurate completion of all details while filling out the application. Before the final submission, candidates should review a preview of their application online. It’s essential to verify the information for accuracy and completeness at this stage. Candidates will have a single opportunity to correct any errors or discrepancies in their details after submission. Hence, careful review and verification before submission are strongly advised to avoid inaccuracies in the application.

The Council will exercise discretion in assigning test centres to ensure the smooth conduct of the examination.
