The KEAM 2024 Application Form has been available on 27th March 2024. The Kerala Entrance Examiner (CEE) is organizing a state entrance exam called KEAM. It is carried out to provide admissions to students in engineering courses.
Through KEAM, admission is offered by several colleges and universities in the state of Kerala. In this article, we mentioned the step-by-step procedure to complete the KEAM 2024 Application Form.
Candidates may complete the KEAM Application form until the 4th week of February 2024. Applicants must send the printed copy of the completed application form together with the required documents to the address indicated:

Step – 1: Candidate Registration
Step 1.1: Visit the Official Website
- Visit the official website (the link is provided above).
- Click on “KEAM 2024 – Online application”.
- Click on “Registration” (as the new user).
Read all instructions carefully and proceed to registration.
Step – 1.2: Complete the details
Complete the details such as Applicant’s name, Date of birth, Email ID, and Mobile phone number; choose your password, Confirm the password, Security question and Write the code (indicated next to the box) in the box.
Click on the “Save” button.
Step – 1.3: Confirm Details
A new window will open which asks to confirm the registration details.
If there is some error in details, you can click on the “Edit” button to edit details, and if the details are correct, click on the “Confirm” button.
A new window opens, showing the application number. Applicants are asked to write down the application number and password for the next session start procedure.
Step – 2: Upload Images
Step 2.1: Guidelines for Upload Images
Candidates are advised to prepare a scanned image of the photograph, signature, and left-hand thumb impression with the following specifications:
Photograph of Candidate:
- The photograph should be coloured with a light background (I prefer the white colour for the background).
- The photograph should be taken in passport format with the front view of the face full and straight, and the part of the candidate’s shoulder should be clearly seen in the image.
- Caps and dark glasses are not allowed.
- The images must be in JPG / JPEG format.
- The photo must meet the dimensions of 150 pixels wide and 200 pixels high.
- The print image of the signature and the thumb must meet the dimensions of 150 pixels wide and 100 pixels high.
- The size of the image should be between 15 kb and 30 kb.
- The name of the candidate and the date of taking the photograph must be printed on the bottom of the image with a white background.
Signature of Candidate:
- Scan this signature and crop around the signature.
- Do not scan the full sheet. The scanned image file should be in jpg format. (Jpeg).
- Dimensions of the image of the signature must be 150 pixels in width and 100 pixels in height.
- The image file should be between 10 kb and 30 kb file sizes.
Left Thumb Impression of Candidate:
- Place the left-hand thumb on an ink pad. Put thumb impression on white paper.
- Scan this paper and get the image of the thumb impression cropped.
- The image file should be in jpg format. (Jpeg)
- Dimensions of the image of the signature must be 150 pixels in width and 100 pixels in height.
- The image file should be between 10 kb and 30 kb file sizes.
Step – 2.2: Upload Image
- Click on the Browse or Choose file button to select the image and click on the “Upload” button to upload an image.
- Tick the checkbox against each uploaded photo.
Step 3: Fill Application Candidates are required to fill in the following details in the application form:
Step – 3.1: Enter Details
Examination Details: Three options will be provided. Engineering, Architecture, Medical and allied candidates have to choose the courses they are opting for and choose the centre of examination.
Personal Details: Name of Applicant, Date of Birth (Attach Self Attested Copy of Proof), Gender, Citizenship, Nativity (Attach Certificate of Proof), State of Permanent Residence, Aadhaar UID, Name of Father, Name of Mother, Name of Guardian, Relationship with Guardian, Religion, Permanent Address, and Pin Code.
Contact Details: Fill in your Address for Communication, PIN code, STD, Land Line Number, Mobile Number, and Email ID.
Academic Details: Enter Details of Qualifying Examination (Qualifying Exam One and Qualifying Exam 2), Details of Qualifying Exam – 1 (Examination status, Name of Board/University, Year, Register Number, Name of Institution and State), choose the subjects studied for Higher Secondary/Equivalent and choose yes or no for studied Sanskrit in plus two levels.
Communal Reservation: If the candidate belongs to any eligible reservation, then select the appropriate one as per your category, and if not, then select general. Choose the appropriate option for Are you a child of an inter-caste married couple? And whether the SC/ST claim was rejected previously by CEE.
Details of Income Certificate (for Fee Concession): Fill in Annual Income in Rupees, District, Taluk, and Village (as per the income certificate).
Special Reservation: Choose the answer for Do you claim Special Reservation and tick on the appropriate category and tick on the appropriate answer for claim reservation for a person with disabilities.
Step – 3.2: Verify the Details
filling out the application form, click on the “Save and Preview” button to preview the details of your filled application form. If there are any mistakes in the application form, the preview will not display. Any mistakes in the application form will be displayed in red colour; first, correct them and then go for “Save and Preview”.
Step – 3.3: Final Submission of Application
If all the details entered are correct in the application form, tick the “I accept” box after reading the statements. Click on the “Final submission” button to submit the application form. Candidates are asked to fill in all the details correctly. No changes will be allowed in the application form after the final submission.
Step 4: Payment of Application Fee
- Click on the “Payment of Application Fee” button.
- Select the payment method.
- Candidates can pay the application fees in two modes: e-challan or by credit/debit card / net banking.
- The registration fee for engineering OR B.Pharm OR Engineering and B.Pharm is Rs. 700 (GEN), and for SC, it will be Rs. 300/ -.
- No fees for ST candidates.
Step – 5: Print the Application
- Candidates are required to take the printout of the submitted application form.
- Click on the button “Print your Application”.
- Take out the printout of your application form.
- Candidates, don’t forget to click on the logout button after taking the printout.
Step – 6: Confirmation
Send the Printout of the Application Form Applicants must submit the completed application form, complete with the above procedure, with the required certificates before the expiration date at the address indicated below. Place a photo of the applicant in a 3.5 x 4.5 cm format identical to the photo loaded in the online application duly certified by the director of the institution who studied the last one or by an official designated in the Official Journal.

- Certificate of the original course duly completed with the signature and stamp of the director of the institution in which the candidate is studying OR a self-certified copy of the end-of-year grade list for the qualification examination.

- Community certificate/layer of non-cream origin (in the case of a communal reserve).
