The HORTICET is completely known as Horticulture Common Entrance Test and this state-level common entrance test is conducted by Dr. Y.S.R Horticulture University.

HORTICET 2024 Counseling 

The authority will conduct the counseling procedure for the candidates to provide admission in B.Sc. Honors program. Only the merit list students will be invited for the counseling procedure.

Those will have a total of 47 seats (15% of the seats of B. Sc (Hons) in Horticulture) up for grabs for candidates appearing through the HORTICET examination, they will be selected in the merit list.

At the time of the counseling procedure, candidates should have to be present on the provided schedule with required documents.

Following are the procedure of HORTICET counseling mentioned below for the candidates and they should have to follow it.

• On the basis of the merit list, candidates will be called out for the counseling procedure on the provided schedule through authority.
• Candidates must have to visit the counseling schedule provided through authority along with required documents.
• The seat allotment will be done at the time of counseling procedure and after the confirmation of admission; applicants should have to report at the allotted center with an admission fee.

Documents to carry at the time of counseling

• Class 10 & Class 12-mark sheet. (Original +2 copies)
• 10 passport size photographs along with 10 stamp size photographs
• Transfer Certificate from college/ institute last attended (Original+ 2 copies)
• Migration Certificate (Original+ 2 copies)
• Caste certificate and Income certificate (Original + 2 copies, if required)
• Parent or Guardian’s PAN card photocopy
• Photocopy of admission fee receipt
• Copy of result.

Candidates will get admission in their aspiring programs after the seat allotment and at the allotted center; candidates should have to report with required original documents and admission fees.

On the basis of eligibility criteria of the candidates and their scored marks in HORTICET, applicants will get admission. The applicants can start their academic session after completing the final admission procedure.
