Himachal Pradesh PG Medical Admission Application Form 2023

The Application Form of Himachal Pradesh PG Medical Admission has been available on the official website from 22nd February till 13th March 2023 and those candidates are wishing to get admission in MD and MS courses at various medical colleges of Himachal Pradesh State and they are qualified in NEET PG Examination, they can fill the application form through following simple steps mentioned below.

• Candidates need to go on the official webpage of Himachal Pradesh PG Medical first of all.
• The applicants have to download the prospectus from the official website and then fill all the required details in the application form.
• After that, candidates have to submit the application form along with the required photocopies of self-attested documents/ certificates and copy of the application fee to the principal either by hand/ registered post/ speed post. OR
• The applicants can also send the scanned copy of the application form along with the required documents via email at studentsectionigmc@gmail.com before the last date.

Himachal Pradesh PG Medical Admission Eligibility Criteria

Those candidates are going to fill the registration form; they should have to check their eligibility criteria mentioned below.

• Candidates belonging to Himachal Pradesh (Bonafide Himachali) must be qualified in MBBS from an institute located in this state.
• They must have completed their Compulsory Rotatory Residential Internship by the earliest by March 31, 2023.
• They should be registered with the State Medical Council/Medical Council of India and qualified in NEET PG by securing the cutoff percentile will be considered eligible for Himachal Pradesh PG medical admission.

Himachal Pradesh PG Medical Admission Merit List 2023

The combined merit list of all categories will publish through the Directorate of Medical Education & Research Himachal Pradesh on its official website for Himachal Pradesh PG Medical Counselling.

As per marks obtained in the NEET-PG examination, applicants will be shortlisted in the merit list. The seats will be allotted to the candidates through direct and in-service for 50% state quota seats. The state quota will receive 50% all India quota seats if it remains unfilled.

The Principle of Medical College Indira Gandhi, Shimla – cum- member secretary counseling committee is conducting the centralized counseling to offer admission to the candidates in 50% state quota seats in government medical colleges and all seats in Pvt. medical college as per marks obtained in NEET-PG Examination.

• Candidates selected in the merit list have to attend the counseling procedure with all the original documents for verification.
• After document verification, applicants will get vacant seats on the basis of merit from amongst the candidates who want to change of course/specialty and thereafter from the waiting list.
• The candidates have to report at the Principal of Indira Gandhi Govt. Medical College, Shimla-cum-Member Secretary Counseling Committee along with original documents and requisite fees.

Candidates should have to carry these required documents for admission in the PG medical courses.

• Matriculation or its equivalent examination certificate for verification of date of birth.
• Final Prof. marks sheet, proof of aggregate total marks & MBBS Degree.
• Character Certificate from the College last attended.
• Attempts certificate duly signed by the Principal of the College concerned.
• Internship certificate.
• Registration Certificate (valid).
• Copy of result card of NEET (PG)-2023.
• BonafideHimachali Certificate.
• SC/ST certificate, if applicable.
• Affidavit duly attested (in original), if applicable.
• Service Certificate-cum-No objection certificate for In-Service Candidates.
• Disability certificate if applicable.
• Proof of admission through CBSE or any other All India Examination (if applicable).
• MCI certificate of recognition /approval.
• Diploma certificate, if applicable.
• Regular/ad-hoc/contract/RKS service certificate(s) showing full particulars of the service.
