The Haryana (Diploma Entrance Test) is conducted on the state level through the Haryana State Technical Education Society (HSTES). This examination is conducted annually to provide admission to the Candidates in various engineering and non-engineering diploma courses.

By eligibility criteria, admission will be provided to the candidates in their aspiring programs. The authority only conducts an entrance exam for lateral entry. No examination is organized for the 1st year of Engineering and pharmacy.

Haryana DET 2024 Eligibility Criteria

Aspiring candidates must check their eligibility criteria before filling out the application form, and applicants without eligibility criteria will not be allowed to apply for this examination. The eligibility criteria details are mentioned below.

Age Criteria:

There is no age limit to apply.

Qualification Criteria:

For Diploma Engineering (3 yrs):

• Candidates have to complete their 10th/SSC examination from a recognized board.
• Candidates pass the above examination with Mathematics and science subjects (compulsory).
• Candidates have to score a minimum of 35% marks (33% marks for SC/ST/KM category) in the above examination.

For Lateral Entry in Diploma Engineering:

• Students should pass ITI of at least two years (after 10th), 10+2 (vocational), and 10+2 examinations from a recognized board.
• Candidates to qualify for the above examination with PCM or 12th class passed with NSQF level 4
• Candidates must secure a minimum of 35% marks in the above examination.

For Diploma Pharmacy:

• Passed 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognized board/university.
• Candidates should secure a minimum of 35% marks in the above examination.
• Passed the above exam with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/ Mathematics:
  • Intermediate science examination.
  • The first year of the three-year degree courses in science.
  • Regular 10+2 examination only in science academic stream.
  • 12 years Higher Secondary Education Board Exam (Science academic stream with Physics, Chemistry, Biology) of the Higher Secondary Education Board, Nepal.
  • Pre-degree exam., or
  • Any other qualification approved by the Pharmacy Council of India as equivalent to any above examinations.

Haryana DET 2024 Application Form

On the official website of the Haryana State Technical Education Society (HSTES), the application form will be provided to the candidates, and the aspiring and eligible candidates can fill out the application form online.

Before the last date of submission, candidates should have to submit it and also make the payment of the application fee. Students must take the printout of the application form for future use.

Application Fee

The applicants must submit Rs. 500 (Rs. 200 for the reserved category) as an application fee. The fee can be paid online (credit card/debit card/net banking) or e-Challan.
