The NTA has announced the GPAT 2025 Eligibility Criteria. GPAT is the National Level Entrance Examination for the Pharmacy courses organized by the NTA once a year. After taking the GPAT 2025 Entrance Examination, The candidates get admission into M. Pharma Programmes.

The eligibility criteria are set based on the parameters, such as educational qualification, age limit, and nationality, which candidates must fulfil. GPAT 2025 Eligibility Criteria

It is essential to fulfil the complete Eligibility Criteria of the GPAT 2025 Entrance Examination. Candidates are requested to check out the complete GPAT 2025 Eligibility Criteria, and later on, they can fill out the GPAT Application Form.

The candidate must hold a bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy (4 years after 10+2, including lateral entry students) or equivalent from a recognized university. Candidates appearing for the final year of bachelor’s degree B. Pharmacy (10+2+4) whose result will be declared before admission for the academic year 2025-25 can also apply for the GPAT – 2025 computer-based test (CBT). B.Tech. (Pharmaceutical and Fine Chemical Technology)/ equivalent candidates are not eligible to apply.

The candidate must be a citizen of India. There is no age restriction for appearing in GPAT – 2025.

If any candidate finds to be ineligible for the examination at a later stage, their candidature will be cancelled. Below we have mentioned the complete eligibility criteria.

Eligibility for Scribe/Reader

The reader/scribe must fulfil the following eligibility criteria:

• The candidate must complete their 19 Years as of 27th January 2025.
• The scribe must not have any relation or involvement in teaching, Tutoring or test preparation.
• The candidate who will be the scribe must not be any family member or the candidate’s friend.
• The candidate should have academic qualifications lower than the candidate.

GPAT Application Fees

GPAT 2025 Exam Pattern

The GPAT 2025 Exam Paper consists of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs). The language of the GPAT 2025 Question paper will be English only. No Other language will be preferred. The duration of the GPAT 2025 Exam is 3 hours.

Reservation

For admission to a participating institute, please see the reservations applicable to that particular institute. In the case of institutes run by the Central Government, 10% of the seats are reserved for the Category General-Economically Weaker Section (GEN-EWS), 15% of the seats are reserved for the category Scheduled Caste (SC), 7.5% for the category Scheduled Tribe (ST) and 27% for the category Other Backward Classes belonging to the “Non-Creamy layer” (OBC-NCL). Each category will have 5% horizontal reservations for Persons with Disabilities (PwD) as defined in The Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016 (RPwD Act 2016).

Other Backward Classes – Non-Creamy Layer (OBC–NCL) are as per the Central list of Other Backward Classes available on the National Commission for Backward Classes (NCBC), Government of India website www.ncbc.nic.Thus, the candidates falling in this list may mention OBC in the Category Column. State list OBC Candidates not in OBC-NCL (Central List) must choose General.
