the Ganeshi Lal Agrawal (GLA) University is a university which offers various UG and PG level programs including B.Tech, B.Tech (lateral entry), B.Pharma, B.Pharma (lateral entry), BBA, BBA (family business), BBA (Hons), B.Com, BCA, MCA, MCA (lateral entry), MBA, MBA (Logistics and Supply Chain Management), M.Tech, M.Pharm, BSc, MSc, D.Pharma, B.Ed, and Diploma in Engineering to those applicants who wish to get admission in the above-mentioned courses.
GLA University will be producing the syllabus for GLA University Entrance Test for the students wanting to enroll in undergraduate and postgraduate courses at the University. Here is going to be discussed on the exam pattern and syllabus.
GLAET 2024 Exam Pattern
The GLAET 2024 Exam will have objective/multiple-type questions
The exam will have a duration of 60 minutes to 120 minutes.
For each correct answer, there will be an addition of 4 marks. The negative marking applies in the exam.
The exam is conducted only once in May/June.
For B. Tech
- There will be 90 objective type questions in the exam.
- The question paper has into 3 parts:
- Part A-Physics
- Part B-Mathematics
- Part C-English
- Part A will have 20 questions, Part B has 45 questions and Part C is of 25 questions
- Time Duration given for this exam is 120 Minutes
For BBA/BBA (Family Business)/BBA (H)/ B.Com
- In the exam paper, there will be 40 Objective type questions.
- The question paper will be including 4 sections:
- Part-A- General Knowledge
- Part-B- Reasoning
- Part-C-English
- Part-D- Mathematics
- Each section will have 40 marks.
- The exam will last for 60 minutes.
For BCA
In the exam the students will be attempting 45 objective question paper will incorporate 4 sections including:

For MCA/ MCA (Lateral)
- In the test paper, there will be 65 objective questions to attempt Question paper will comprise 3 parts – Part A, Part B, and Part C. Each part is of 25, 10, and 40 questions.
- Part A includes 100 marks, Part-B of 40 marks, and Part-C of 160 marks.
- The maximum marks are 300.
For MBA
- There are a total of 75 questions asked in the exam
- Question paper is divided into 4 parts that are-
- General Knowledge- 20 questions
- Reasoning- 20 questions
- English- 15 questions
- Mathematics- 20 Questions
- The maximum marks required by the student are 300.
- 90 minutes will be given to the students to finish the test.
For B.Pharma/B.Pharma (Lateral Entry)
- The question paper will have 75 questions in total.
- It is divided into 4 parts:
- Physics-15 questions
- Chemistry-30 question
- Mathematics/Biology-10 questions
- English-20 questions.
- Weightage for each section is:
- Physics-60
- Chemistry-120
- Mathematics/Biology-40
- English-80.
- The maximum marks required by the student to obtain in the exam are 300.
- 1 hour 30 minutes will be given to the student for the exam.
For B.Sc Hons. Biotech
- Aspirants will have to attempt 45 questions.
- The question paper will include 3 parts that are-
- Zoology- 17 questions
- Chemistry- 17 questions
- Botany- 11 questions
- Parts have the following weightage-
- Zoology- 68
- Chemistry- 44
- Botany- 68
- The maximum marks required by the student to obtain in the exam are 180.
- 1 hour 30 minutes are given a student.
For M.Sc Microbiology/Biotech
- Entrance Exam for this course contains 45 questions in the paper.
- Question paper consist of 3 parts:
- Zoology- 20 questions
- Chemistry- 05 questions
- Botany- 20 questions
- Parts have the following weightage-
- Zoology- 80 marks
- Chemistry- 20 marks
- Botany- 80 marks
- The maximum marks required by the student to get in the exam are 180.
- Students will have 1 hour to finish the exam.
For Diploma in Engineering
- The question paper will be structured into 3 parts-
- Physics- 15 Questions
- Chemistry- 15 Questions
- Mathematics- 15 Questions
- Each part will have 60 marks
- The maximum marks which are required to be achieved by the students are 180.
- 1 hour is provided to complete the test.
For D.Pharma
- The question paper will be distributed into 4 parts with 45 questions to be answered.
- Physics- 05 questions
- Chemistry- 20 questions
- English- 10 questions
- Biology/Math- 10 questions
- The marks considered for each section-
- Physics- 20 marks
- Chemistry- 80 marks
- English- 40 marks
- Biology/Math- 40 marks
- The student will have a total 1 hour to take the exam
- Maximum marks that a student can score is 180
For B.Ed 2024
- The total number of questions is 45.
- Question Paper is parted into 4 divisions –
- General awareness- 10 questions
- Aptitude test- 10 questions
- English- 10 questions
- Art/Commerce/Science group- 15 questions
- The marks considered for each section –
- General awareness- 40 marks
- Aptitude test- 40 marks
- English- 40 marks
