GATE 2024 CCMT 3rd Round Seat Allotment Result has been Released on 1st July 2024. CCMT 1st Round Counselling Registration Last Date has been Extended till 8th June 2024. The GATE is popularly known as the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering, and the various Indian Institute of Technology administers the GATE to those applicants aspiring to get admission in various programs such as ME/M.Tech/Direct PhD and many other programs can fill out the application form provided by various IITs on a rotational basis.

GATE 2024 Counseling

The GATE 2024 Counseling will be conducted through Centralised Counselling for M.Tech (CCMT) for the applicants to provide admission in the NITs, GFTIs, and IIITs to complete their M.Tech programs. There will be no common counselling will be conducted for the candidates.

Various institutes of IITs conduct GATE counselling through the Common Offer Acceptance Portal (COAP) for the applicants to provide them admission to M.Tech programs.

The M.Tech programs will be available for candidates in various private and government engineering institutions. The counselling procedure will be conducted after the declaration of results and cut-off marks.

GATE 2024 Counseling Procedure

The procedure of GATE counselling is mentioned below for applicants, and they have to follow it.

• The applicants must register on the official website of CCMT (Centralised Counselling for M.Tech).
• At the time of filling out the registration form, applicants also have to make the payment of the application fee.
• The payment can be made online by using Net Banking/ Credit Card/Debit Card or e-Challan.
• The registration fee is  2200 (Rs. 1700 for SC/ST/PwD).
• Candidates can fill out their choices of programs after paying the application fee.
• They have to lock their choices and also take a printout of it. They can also take the centre’s help to fill and lock their choices.
• As per the choices of candidates, the seat allotment will be done through authority, and the applicants have to deposit the seat acceptance fees (Rs. 20000)using SBI MOPS (Net banking/credit card/ debit card or through e-Challan).
• Applicants should have to report at the counselling, and they also have to carry the required documents for verification, and they will get a Document Verification Certificate (DVC) through the authority.
• Candidates have to pay the seat confirmation fee at the allotted college after the seat allotment of the candidates.

Documents to carry for GATE 2024 Counseling Procedure

The applicants should carry the required documents for verification at the counselling centre.

• Provisional seat allotment letter.
• Self-Attested Copy of GATE Score Card (2022 or 2023 or 2024).
• Photo ID proof.
• Original Birth certificate issued by competent authority/Class X (High School) Board Certificate as proof of date of birth.
• 12th class mark sheet.
• Mark sheet of qualifying examination (all semester).
• Degree/Provisional Certificate
• Category certificate (if applicable).
• Three Passport-size coloured photographs.
• Seat acceptance fee proof.
• Printout of the Registration form & locked choices.
• Migration Certificate.
• Transfer Certificate.
• Original Conduct Certificate from the Head of the institution last attended.
• An original Course completion certificate from the Head of the University/Institute in case the Result is awaited.
• One set of self-attested photocopies of all the original documents.
