• Total Number of Papers: There will be a total of 23 papers conducted in the entrance exam
• Total Marks: The entrance exam will be conducted for a maximum of 100 marks.
• Type of Questions: There will be only two types of question asked in the GATE examination which is MCQs and numerical questions
• Marking Scheme: 1 mark will be allotted for every correct answer and 2 marks for 2 some questions.
• Negative Marking: 1/3 mark will be reduced for every wrong answer attempted (1 mark question) and 2/3 marks will be deducted from 2 mark questions if wrongly attempted.
