The FTII (Film and Television Institute of India) is a self-governing organization under the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting of the Government of India, assisted by the help of the Central Government of India. There are plenty of things that are done through FTII. It provides ample opportunity for the students to interact with the media and provides a great tool. It was initiated in 1960 in 1960 Pune.

So many versatile talents have been through FTII and made a splash with their acting, directing and other prowess. The FTII is associated with CILECT, known by the International Liaison Centre of Schools of Cinema and Television, helping to achieve your goal.

The aspirants willing to get into the direction of cinematography, sound designing, acting, etc., must complete their graduation. You need to pay RS. 2150/- if you are from the General class and those from the SC/ST class will only need to pay RS. 650/-.

The FTII organization is in connection with the National Film Archives of India which organizes the 8-week film Appreciation course. Those completing the graduation from the reputed institute.

The students will be shown the education certificates during admission. The application form will be obtained online at the site www.ftiindia.com.
