DRDO 2024 Application Form will be Released Soon. DRDO stands for Defence Research and Development Organization. Its main function is to perform the DRDO Recruitment Exam 2024.

It is conducted on a national level. It is an organization of the Republic of India, which is responsible for the development of technologies that will be used by the militaries, headquartered in New Delhi, India. Its headquarters is situated in DRDO Bhavan, New Delhi, India. 

The main motive behind the DRDO entrance exam is to hire skilled applicants for the post of junior research fellows. Applicants need to clear the entrance exam which is conducted in offline mode.

DRDO 2024 Application Form

• The Application form is available on the official website of the university.
• Applicants can visit the official website to get the application form online.
• DRDO 2024 Application Form will be Released Soon.
• DRDO 2024 Application Form can be filled till October 2024.

• The applicants are requested to fill in the details required in the Application form.
• After filling all the details, applicants are requested to upload scanned photographs and signatures in the form.

DRDO 2024 Application Fee 

Applicants then need to deposit a certain amount as an application fee.

Applicants can pay the application fee online by debit/Credit card or by net banking.

Once the form is duly filled along with the application fee, applicants are requested to take a printout of the form and submit it to the below-mentioned address:

DRDO 2024 Eligibility Criteria

Important information related to the eligibility criteria is listed below:

Nationality:  Applicants who reside in India are eligible to apply for the exam. Applicants who belong to aboard are not eligible.

Age limit: Applicants up to the age of 28 years are eligible to apply.

Qualifications: Applicants must have completed their first-year bachelor’s degree in engineering or technology from a known university.

DRDO 2024 Exam Pattern

Important information related to the paper pattern for the entrance exam is listed below:

• Applicants will get three hours to solve the entire paper.
• The paper will be based on MCQ type questions.
• Applicants will have four options available for one question in the paper.
• The paper will be divided into two sections (A & B).

Section A:

• 100 questions will be asked in section A.
• Four marks will be awarded for each correct answer.
• Each incorrect answer will deduct one mark.

Section B:

• 50 questions will be asked in section B.
• Two marks will be awarded for each correct answer.
• ½ marks will be deducted for incorrect answers.
• The main motive of section B is to identify applicant’s ability related to applied research and development.
• Section B is subdivided into five topics:
• Logical relation (10 questions).
• Spatial reasoning (10 questions).
• Concept formation (10 questions).
• Abstract reasoning (10 questions).
• Numerical reasoning (10 questions).

DRDO 2024 Admit Card

University will release the Admit Card on the official website of the university. Applicants should download the Admit Card from the website.

Applicants should take printouts of the same for future reference. The applicants must bring the Admit Card along with a photo ID proof at the time of examination. Authorities will not allow those applicants who do not carry Admit Card along with them.

The admit card is an important document as it includes information about applicants’ names, DOB, exam date and time, address, signature, etc. Applicants are recommended to keep the admit cards safely for further reference.

DRDO 2024 Result

University will release the results on the official website itself. Applicants can check the grades by visiting the website. Applicants need to click on the results link.

Once the link is clicked, a PDF file will open that contains the result of the applicant. Applicants need to download the PDF file and take a printout of the same.

Applicants are advised to keep the Result secure as it will be needed in the future at the time of the admission process. Based on the grades scored by the applicants, authorities will declare a merit list of those applicants who have to appear for the counseling

DRDO 2024 Counselling

Applicants will be shortlisted by the authorities based on the rank scored in the entrance exam. Authority will upload the list on the official website of the university.

Applicants need to check the list on the website. Shortlisted applicants need to have a valid Net GATE grade of 2018/2024/2024, in the ration of 1:5 subjects.

Shortlisted applicants have to be present at the time of the counseling process with the required documents. Applicants will be selected for admission based on the counseling process. The counseling process will start in March 2024.
