DET Odisha Admissions to Non-Engineering, Film & TV, and courses under the Part-Time program shall be made according to the merit rank drawn based on marks obtained by an applicant in the qualifying examination through computerized Central Counseling. However, additional weight will be given for drawing the Film & TV Courses merit list per the Guidelines.

DET Odisha 2024 Seat Allotment – Released

Procedure for DET Odisha 2024 Seat Allotment

• Step 1:- The applicants first visit the official website.
• Step 2:- Then log in with your ID and Password.
• Step 3:- Submit your rank card in the required field and click on the submit button.
• Step 4:- Now it shows your seat allotment letter appearing on the PC Screen.
• Step 5:- Don’t forget to take a printout or download the seat allotment letter.

Original documents will be submitted on the day of reporting at the final allotment.

• Final downloaded Seat Allotment Letter from the website.
• Fee deposit slip (institute copy) in respect of seat allotment.
• Conduct Certificate and SLC / CLC from the institution last studied.
• Recent passport-size photographs duly attested.
• Migration Certificate in case candidates pass the 10th standard examination from any Board other than the Board of Secondary Education, Odisha.

Eligibility Criteria for Admission to a 1st-semester diploma in engineering/ technology

1st-semester diploma courses (All Engineering except Mining & Drilling)

The time duration for the diploma in engineering and technology is three years. Pass in HSC examination conducted by BSE, Odisha/ 10th standard examination declared equivalent by BSE, Odisha, and obtained at least 35% marks in aggregate, securing 30% marks in each subject at the qualifying examination with English, Math & Science subjects.

Age from the current year – Lower age 14 years and Upper age – No bar.

1st-semester Diploma Courses (Mining & Drilling Engineering)

The time duration for the diploma in engineering and technology is three years.

Pass in HSC examination conducted by BSE, Odisha/ 10th standard examination declared equivalent by BSE, Odisha, and obtained at least 35% marks in aggregate securing 30% marks in each subject at the qualifying examination with English, Math & Science subjects.

Age from the current year – Lower age 16 years and Upper age – No bar.

Diploma Courses under Part-Time Programme

The time duration for the diploma in engineering and technology is four years.

Pass in the HSC examination conducted by BSE, Odisha/ 10th standard examination declared equivalent by BSE, Odisha, and obtained at least 35 % marks in aggregate, securing 30% marks in each subject at the qualifying examination with English, Math & Science subjects and two-year ITI after 10th standard.

OR

Pass in HSC examination conducted by BSE, Odisha/ 10th standard examination declared equivalent by BSE, Odisha and obtained at least 35% marks in aggregate, securing 30% marks in each subject at the qualifying examination with English, Math & Science subjects and a minimum of two years full-time work experience in a registered firm / Company / Industry / Educational.

Odisha Diploma Counselling Procedure

• Document verification is done at NCC, The registered applicants have to visit the Nodal Centre for Counselling (NCC) where they have to verify their documents.
• An applicant has the option either to do a choice filling at NCC or any other place having an Internet facility.
• The claim of admission will be rejected if an applicant does not appear personally and submit the certificates, mark sheets, or other necessary documents at the time of document verification.
• An applicant can check the seat allotment result online on the official website. After seat allotment, students need to submit Rs. 300/- as per the admission fee.
• The fees can be submitted online or through e-challan submitted at any branch of Axis Bank.
