Odisha DET 2024 Counselling Registration has been started on 1st April 2024. It provides admission to various diploma courses the state’s government/ private aided polytechnic colleges offer. Admission will be offered to Diploma Engineering/ Diploma Engineering (Lateral Entry)/Non-Engineering Diploma Courses/ Diploma and Film and TV courses.

The online Application Form for all Diploma Courses is available on the website (www.diplomaadmissionodisha.nic.in ) and should be submitted online on or before the due date & time. Admissions to 1st-semester Diploma Engineering Courses and 3rd-semester Diploma Engineering (Lateral Entry) shall be made according to the merit rank drawn based on the marks obtained by a candidate in the qualifying examination through web-based e-counselling.

Odisha Diploma Counselling Process

The counselling process has been divided into various steps, which are given below:

Registration:

Candidates have to register themselves for admission through the website. Candidates must fill in their communication, the course applies, communication & other details. Candidates also have to make a fee payment at the time of registration.

Document Verification:

The verification process will be done offline at the Nodal Centre for Counselling (NCC). Students must bring a downloaded application form, registration slip & other documents to the centre. Candidates have to bring their original documents along with the photocopies.

Merit List:

Based on marks obtained by the candidates, a separate merit list will be released. The merit list will be released online mode through the website.

Choice Filling & Locking:

Candidates who have scored rank in the merit list will be able to proceed with the choice filling & locking for admission. The choice of filling will be made via online mode.

Seat Allotment:

Based on filled choices, rank, category & availability of college seats, seats will be allotted to candidates. Once the seat is allotted, candidates must pay the park admission fees. After that, candidates can also download their seat allotment letter.

Reporting to the Allotted College:

After downloading the seat allotment letter, candidates must appear at the allotted college to complete the admission formalities. Candidates must bring the required documents & pay the fees at the allotted college.
