DASA 2024 Cut-Off

The DASA (Direct Admission of Students Abroad) 2024 cut-off marks the minimum scores or ranks required for candidates to secure admission in various undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) courses. The cut-off is influenced by factors such as the number of available seats, the difficulty level of the entrance exams (JEE Main, SAT, GRE, GMAT), and the overall performance of applicants. Understanding the cut-off is crucial, as it provides insights into the competitiveness of the admission process and helps candidates gauge their chances of securing a place in their desired courses.

DASA 2024 Selection Process

Candidates shortlisted in the merit list will progress to the subsequent selection procedure, with four rounds earmarked for undergraduate (UG) courses and two rounds for postgraduate (PG) courses in the DASA 2024 admission process. Participation in the first round is mandatory for the selection procedure to be deemed valid.

Upon being selected in the first round, candidates face the pivotal decision to either accept or decline the allotted seat option. Those who opt to accept will receive details about the allocated course and institute along with a provisional allotment letter. Subsequently, candidates will have the option to participate in subsequent rounds, progressing from round 2 to round 3, until the culmination of the fourth and final round.

For candidates who choose to decline the initial offer, they will proceed directly to the fourth round, also known as the spot round process. In this scenario, they will forego the opportunity to participate in rounds 2 and 3. This strategic arrangement ensures a dynamic and responsive approach to seat allocation, allowing candidates the flexibility to navigate through the rounds based on their individual choices and preferences.

DASA 2024 Counselling

The DASA 2024 counselling process is designed to cater to every eligible candidate and will be conducted exclusively through online mode. Initiated by the National Board of Examinations (NBE), the counselling process for undergraduate (UG) courses is set to commence in April 2024, while the process for postgraduate (PG) courses will kick off in May 2024. Only candidates whose names appear on the merit list will be invited to participate in this crucial phase.

The counselling procedure encompasses multiple rounds to ensure a comprehensive and systematic allocation of seats. These rounds will include key steps such as registration, choice filling, seat allotment, reporting to the allocated institution, and document verification. Upon securing a seat through the merit-based allotment, candidates are required to fulfil all remaining formalities promptly to confirm their admission.
