The Central University Common Entrance Test (CUCET) is the popular exam of 10 central universities by which candidates are getting admission to complete their undergraduate program. CUCET 2024 Merit List
The CUCET may have ten participants from central universities, and candidates will be selected from any central university to take the entrance examination. Those candidates will take the examination and be shortlisted in the merit list, which the central universities will upload.
Those aspirants will be shortlisted in the merit list; they will go for the counselling stage to get admission to central universities. The candidates can attend the counselling at the state central university centre.

CUCET 2024 Merit List Calculation
Merit List is calculated based on Aggregate Marks (%) obtained in qualifying degree courses or Board Certification and Marks obtained in CUCET. There is a certain weightage of both marks:
- 30% of the Qualifying Degree Course or Board Certificate (10, 10+2)
- 70% of CUCET Marks
For Example:
- 80% is Aggregate Marks of 10+2 Exam then 30% of 82 = 24
- 75 Marks in CUCET, then 70% of 75 = 52.5
- Net Merit for CUCET Weill be (a+b) 24 + 52.5 = 76.5
How to Check CUCET 2024 Result
Candidates should go through the given steps to check CUCET Result 2024:
- Visit the official website of CUCET, i.e. cucetexam. in
- Now, click on the “CUCET 2024 Results” link.
- Enter the login details, Roll Number, and Date of Birth
- Click on the ‘Login button.’
- The result of CUCET 2024 will be displayed
- Download it & take a print copy of it for future use.
Note: If the result page is not opening or showing some error, it may be because of the high rush hour on the website or a slow network problem. After some minutes, try again for the CUCET 2024 Result.

CUCET 2024 Counseling
The CUCET Counseling will be conducted after the merit list declaration, and candidates who have participated in the CUCET will be shortlisted in the merit list as per their results.
In the participating institutes, the candidates will be allotted after counselling to get admission to Central Universities.
Ten central universities will conduct admission for candidates separately.
Those candidates selected and shortlisted for counselling must attend the procedure with the required documents.

Important Instructions of CUCET 2024 Counseling
- All of the participating candidates will attend the counselling session from different centres.
- The candidates should be present at the counselling centre per the provided schedule.
- The candidates will be selected for M.Tech Seat allotment on the obtained marks.
- The seats will be approved for only candidates who successfully verified their documents at the counselling session.
CUCET Counseling for GATE-qualified candidates
GATE Examination qualifies those candidates; they don’t need to attend the CUCET Examination. They will get direct admission to central universities. The seat allotment will be conducted for GATE-qualified candidates at the counselling session. The GATE-qualified candidates are eligible to get admission directly to the central universities.
