CMC (Christian Medical College) Vellore Nursing 2024 is a university-level entrance exam held every year to offer admissions in the B.Sc Nursing, M.Sc Nursing, Diploma, and PG Diploma Nursing courses. 

The CMC offers a lot of courses that are for UG and PG Applicants. Each course has an entrance exam that the applicants have to appear to get admission. Candidates seeking admission into nursing courses in the Institute are required to obtain a qualifying score in the entrance test & assessment test.

The college is located in Tamil Nadu state, and the city is Vellore. The Result of the Entrance Exam decides the appropriate nursing course for the applicant.

CMC Vellore Nursing 2024 Eligibility Criteria

Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing-

Eligibility – Passed Higher Secondary /Senior Secondary/Intermediate/10 + 2/ an equivalent examination recognized by the University/10 + 1 in or before the year 1986.

Passed the qualification of Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery or alternate course.

Permanent registration certificate with the State Registration Council for Nursing and Midwifery / alternate course approved by the Indian Nursing Council for a similar duration in lieu of Midwifery in any one of the following areas.

• O.T. Technique
• Ophthalmic Nursing
• Leprosy Nursing
• TB Nursing
• Psychiatric Nursing
• Neurological and Neuro Surgical Nursing
• Community Health Nursing
• Cancer Nursing
• Orthopedic Nursing

A certificate of Medical Fitness from an authorized Medical Officer.

Post Basic Diploma in Nursing-

Eligibility – Passed the qualification of Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery or alternate course / B.Sc. Nursing / B.Sc. (Honors) in Nursing / Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing.

Permanent registration certificate from the State Nursing Council for Nursing and Midwifery or alternate course (applicable to male candidates).

Minimum one year of work experience as of 1^st September 2024 in any clinical area in the hospital or in the community.

A certificate of Medical Fitness from an authorized Medical Officer.

Fellowship in Nursing – 

Eligibility- Passed the qualification of B.Sc. Nursing l B.Sc. (Honors) in Nursing l Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing degree of The Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University, Chennai or any other University accepted as equivalent thereto. Permanent registration certificate from the State Nursing Council for Nursing and Midwifery or alternate course (applicable to male candidates).

Minimum one year of work experience as of 1^st September 2024 in any clinical area in the hospital or in the community. A certificate of Medical Fitness from an authorized Medical Officer.
