Chennai MBBS/BDS Admission Procedure 2024

In the courses of MBBS and BDS, admission will be provided to the candidates based on national-level entrance exams such as NEET (previously known as AIPMT). There will be no state-level entrance exam conducted by any state for admission into medical & dental programs.

Many governments & private colleges are accepting the NEET scorecard to provide admission to candidates into MBBS/BDS courses. There are 85% of state quota seats will be allotted at the time of the counselling procedure managed by the state medical authorities.

Chennai MBBS/BDS Counseling 2024

The concerned authority will release the merit list on the official website to provide admission to the candidates into the MBBS/BDS course after the declaration of results. The candidates must score qualified marks to become eligible for the Counseling session. Those applicants aspiring to get admission into Medical and Dental courses in Chennai can apply in 85% state quota counselling.

Those applicants who are shortlisted in the merit list will be called out for the counselling procedure in their preferred colleges. NEET counselling will be conducted by the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) & Medical Counselling Committee (MCC).
