This Delhi Eligibility 2024 includes eligibility for the qualification and age requirements that must be met by all applicants wishing to appear on the common entrance exam in Delhi.

This Delhi is commonly known as the Delhi Polytechnic Entrance Exam. The Department of Training and Technical Education, Delhi CET, is the authority that directs the review of CET Delhi.

This entrance test is the gateway to the engineering and non-engineering degree programs offered by the Polytechnic Institutions of Delhi. Here, we mention eligibility for CET Delhi 2024.

CET Delhi 2024 Eligibility

This Delhi will be carried out for five tests. The eligibility requirements for each course will be different. Students can verify their eligibility for the exam for which he/she appear. Only Indian / sponsored applicants will be eligible for admission.

The Aadhaar or PAN card is mandatory for the Delhi 2024 exam. The table below shows the eligibility for the qualification of each course.

Qualification Eligibility

Program Qualification Eligibility
Engineering/Technology-based Diploma Courses & Occupational Courses
  • Passed 10th or matrix or any other examination recognized as equivalent examination conducted by CBSE with not less than 35% aggregate marks in Science, English, and Mathematics.
  • The subjects Science, Mathematics and English are compulsory & the candidate should have passed in each of these three subjects.
  • The candidate passing the qualifying examination under the grading system must obtain the passing grade to be eligible to apply.
Diploma Course in Modern Office Practice – English
  • The candidate has to pass 12th in any stream from the CBSE board or its equivalent.
  • The qualifying examination should be passed with a minimum of 35% marks secured in the best three subjects, including English.
  • For Modern Office Practice (English), English is the mandatory subject the candidate should have
    obtained pass marks in this subject.
Diploma Course in Modern Office Practice – Hindi
  • The minimum qualification required is 10+2 passed in any stream from the CBSE board or its equivalent with a minimum of 35% aggregate marks.
  • The marks will be calculated in aggregate of the best three subjects, including Sanskrit/Hindi.
Diploma Course in Pharmacy
  • The prescribed qualification is 10+2 from CBSE or any other equivalent examination recognized by the Pharmacy Council of India passed with Physics, Chemistry & either Mathematics or Biology.
  • PCM/B, along with English, are compulsory subjects.
  • Students who passed from the National Institute of Open Schooling shall not be considered for admission.
For candidates applying for lateral entry
(For Delhi region candidates only).
  • Passed 12th Std examination with Physics
    and Chemistry as compulsory subjects along
    with one of the Mathematics / Biology
    ( Botany and Zoology) OR
    12th Science (with Mathematics as one of the Subjects) or 12th Science with Vocational OR
    12th Science with Technical
    OR
    Passed 10th class from CBSE board and two years ITI (Engg.) from ITIs/ITCs in Delhi only.
