CEED Participating Institutes 2025 – Check College List Here

Currently, eight institutes are participating in CEED 2025. These institutes will use CEED 2025 scores to admit students to their M.Des and PhD programs, with a total of over 302 seats available for the M.Des courses. Unlike UCEED, IIT Bombay will not conduct a Joint Admission Process or counselling for the participating CEED institutes.

Once the CEED 2025 results are announced, candidates will need to apply directly to the participating institutes. Each institute will host its own counselling and application form on its portal. To apply, candidates must register, upload their CEED 2025 scorecards and other required documents, and submit the completed form.

Participating institutes may hold additional admission rounds, such as personal interviews and portfolio reviews. Candidates with a merit rank in CEED 2025 are eligible to apply for admission. Each institute will create a merit list and use it to shortlist candidates for final admission.

CEED 2025 Result-sharing Institutes

A key distinction between CEED 2025 result-sharing institutes and participating institutes is that result-sharing institutes may use scores from other entrance exams in addition to CEED 2025 scores to fill some of their M.Des seats. In contrast, participating institutes will only consider CEED 2025 merit ranks for admissions.

For example, IIT Delhi will not accept NIFT or NID scores for its M.Des program. However, result-sharing institutes might accept scores from other exams. To find out which exams are accepted by a particular institute, check its admission portal where this information is usually provided.

Eligibility Criteria for Admission to CEED Participating Institutes

To be eligible for admission to CEED 2025 result-sharing institutes, a candidate must meet the following TWO criteria:

• A valid CEED 2025 score.
• A passing grade in the qualifying degree.

Qualifying Degrees (as per information released by IIT Jodhpur) include:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Design/Engineering/Architecture/Interior Design: 10+2+4 years (minimum four-year Bachelor’s course). Note: B.Plan. is considered equivalent to B.Arch. A four-year B.Sc (Engg) course after HSC is considered equivalent to BE/B.Tech.
• Professional Diploma in Design: 10+2+4 years (minimum four-year diploma program).
• BFA: A 4-year professional program with entry after 10+2.
• GD Art: A 4-year program after a 1-year foundation. The minimum entry requirement is a 10th pass, plus one year of professional experience in design areas.
• Master’s Degree in Arts, Science: A 3+2 years program with entry after 10+2.
• Master’s Degree in Computer Application: A 3-year program or 2 years if lateral entry to the second year after a BCA program with entry after 10+2+3 years for graduation.
• Or an equivalent degree as decided by the participating institute.

How to Apply to a CEED Participating Institute

Here is the typical process for admission after CEED 2025 results are declared:

• Application Form Submission: Candidates who have qualified for CEED 2025 need to apply through the admission portal of the participating institute.
• Shortlisting of Candidates for Online Evaluation: Based on the applications received, the institute will shortlist candidates for an online interview.
• Portfolio Submission: Candidates are required to submit a portfolio as part of their application.
• Online Interview: Shortlisted candidates will appear for an online interview.
• Declaration of Results: The institute will publish the list of selected candidates on its admission portal.
• Payment of Fees and Confirmation of Admission: Selected candidates must pay the admission fee and complete any other necessary admission formalities.
