GATE CCMT 2024: Allotment Result (Out), Dates, Eligibility, Counselling, Admission Procedure

CCMT 2024 3rd Round Seat Allotment Result has been Released on 1st July 2024. Online Counselling Registration Last Date has been Extended till 8th June 2024. The CCMT (Centralized Counseling for M.Tech./ M.Arch./ M.Plan./M.Des.) is the final process authority of admission in M.Tech./ M.Arch./ M.Plan./M.Des through marks scored in GATE examination.

Admission will be provided to the candidates in various National Institute of Technologies (NITs), IIEST Shibpur, 8 IIITs, National Institute of Foundry and Forge Technology (NIFFT) Ranchi, School of Planning and Architecture (SPA) Vijayawada, University of Hyderabad, Central University of Rajasthan, Sant Longowal Institute of Engineering and Technology (SLIET) Longowal, Punjab Engineering College (PEC) Chandigarh and Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University Katra.

CCMT Important Dates 2024

Applying candidates must be aware of the important schedule provided through authority from the official website, and the important dates.

CCMT Application Form 2024

Registration for CCMT 2024 has been started from 24th May 2024 to the last week of April, and eligible candidates can fill out the application form of CCMT online by visiting the official website.

• First, candidates should visit the official webpage of Centralized Counseling for M.Tech./ M.Arch./ M.Plan./M.Des.
• Candidates should register by entering the required details such as year of exam, registration ID, exam paper, and marks scored out of 100.
• After registration, applicants can fill out the application form by filling in and submitting the required details such as parent’s name, date of birth, gender, nationality, academic qualification details, bank-related information, and more.
• They should have uploaded the required documents, and the file size of the scorecard had to be between 50 KB to 200 KB. The scorecard format had to be GIF/PNG/JPG/JPEG/BMP.
• They need to pay application fees and fill and lock their choices. Candidates have to submit it and take the printout of it for future use.

CCMT 2024 Fees

The applicants need to pay the application fee of Rs. 3500 for OC/BC and Rs. 3000 for SC/ST/PwD after the application form is submitted. The payment had to be done through SBI MOPS, i.e., net banking/credit card/debit card or e-challan at any branch of SBI.

CCMT 2024 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must check their eligibility criteria before filling out the application form for CCMT. The eligibility criteria details are provided below.

• Applying candidates must be qualified in the GATE Score of the year 2022/2023/2024.
• The applicants must be qualified with at least a 6.5 CGPA (on a 10-point scale) or 60% for OC/OB candidates. SC/ST/PwD candidates should have secured a 6.0 CGPA (on a 10-point scale) or 55%. A recognized University/Institute should have awarded the CGPA/Percentage.
• The conversion from CGPA to the percentage or vice versa given by an individual institute/ university will not be considered/allowed.
• Candidates should have certification from any of the professional societies to be eligible.

CCMT 2024 Admission Procedure

Admission will be offered to the candidates through the CCMT admission procedure.

• Candidates must have registered online for CCMT and have to fill in their choices across all the participating institutes.
• The seats will be allotted to the candidates based on choices filled by the candidates and seat availability.
• Candidates have to pay the seat acceptance fee online or offline mode, and they have to report at the allotted centre.
• They must carry the required documents in the original and self-attested copy of each at the allotted centre.
• At the allotted institute, the seats of a candidate will be confirmed after paying a seat confirmation fee, and they can download the provisional seat confirmation letter from CCMT.

CCMT 2024 Result

The result will be released online mode. The candidates can download the results from the official website. The students can check the result by entering their User ID and password. The merit list also is prepared after the result.

CCMT 2024 Counseling

The GATE score will organize CCMT Counseling. Candidates must have a valid GATE 2018/ 2019/ 2024 scorecard. GATE 2024 Counselling will be held in three rounds through online mode.

The GATE 2024 will be organized through IIT (Indian Institute of Technology), Delhi. The students will be seeking admission by GATE in the course of their choice for postgraduate provided by NITs, IITs, and other organizations.

Documents to Carry for Counseling

Candidates need to carry the required documents at the CCMT counselling for verification.

• Printout of the Registration Form and the locked choices.
• The provisional Seat Allotment letter was downloaded from the CCMT website
• Self-attested copy of GATE scorecard
• Photo ID proof as per Govt. of India norms
• Original Birth certificate Class X (High School) Board Certificate as proof of date of birth
• Original Mark sheet of Class XII
• Original Grade/Mark sheets of the qualifying examination for all semesters
• Original Degree certificate, if completed
• Original Caste Certificate, if applicable.
• Original Certificate for Persons with Disabilities (PwD), if applicable.
• Proof of payment of Seat Acceptance fee.
• Three colour passport-size photographs
• Original Conduct Certificate from the Head of the institution last attended
• Original Transfer certificate from the Head of the institution last attended
