Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examinations Board (BCECEB) is the conducting body that conducts the BCECE Entrance Examination for taking admission into various professional courses. Previously, BCECE was conducted to take admission into Engineering and Pharmacy, but from 2024, Admission in Engineering and Technology is based on the JEE Main 2024 Score. BCECE 2024 takes admission in Pharmacy and other courses.
The main aim of conducting this exam is to offer access to candidates into various UG courses in the fields of Engineering, Pharmacy and Agriculture, and other classes.

BCECE Eligibility 2024
Candidate should be passed 12th in Science Stream with Subjects (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics (Biology) for Pharmacy & Medical Courses. The minimum mark that candidates should secure in his/her 12th science is 45%. This is a level entrance examination, So only Bihar State candidates are eligible for the BCECE 2024. There is no upper age limit for the BCECE 2024 Entrance Examination for courses like Engineering and pharmacy.
For Medical and Agriculture Courses, the Candidate must not be less than 17 years of his/her age by April 2024.

- Qualifying Examination: Eligible applicants must qualify as the intermediary or equivalent of a recognized board.
- The qualification exam must pass with the compulsory subjects, such as physics and mathematics. The optional subjects also required are chemistry, biotechnology, biology, and professional technical subjects.
- Minimum score: A candidate must be eligible with a minimum of 45% for the general categories and 40% for the Reserve categories.

- Qualification Examination: The minimum qualification is 10 + 2 or equivalent to the examination.
- Subjects: The compulsory subjects required in the previous university examination are Physics and Chemistry. Besides, it is compulsory to choose an optional subject between them, that is to say, mathematical, biological, or technical subjects.
- Minimum Score: The candidate must obtain 45% of the qualifications (general candidates) in the qualifying examination and 40% (candidates SC / ST).
- Visible Candidates: Principal applicants may also apply because they must have passed the qualifying examination at the time of referral.
