Candidates are requested to complete the AP PolyCET 2024 Application Form only after verifying their eligibility for the exam. AP PolyCET is a state-level entrance exam that takes place once a year.

The government of Andhra Pradesh, the Department of Technical Education, administers it. To be admitted to public and private institutions, candidates must sit for the exam.

AP PolyCET 2024 Eligibility

It is necessary to meet all the eligibility criteria to obtain admission. Participating in the exam is not the only possibility of admission to Polytechnic colleges.

Candidates will be admitted in accordance with all the requirements established by the authority.

AP PolyCET 2024 Eligibility Criteria

Nationality:

• Applying candidates must be Indian citizens.

State Eligibility:

• Candidates should belong to the state of Andhra Pradesh.
• Candidates applying should have the domicile of Andhra Pradesh state.

Age Criteria:

• There is no restriction to appear in the AP PolyCET Examination.
• The candidate’s age should be above 15 years.

Qualifying Exam:

• The candidate should pass the SSC (10th) exam from the AP state.
• The SSC exam must be conducted by the State Board of Secondary Education, AP/Telangana, or any other recognized board.

Minimum Marks:

• Candidates have to score a minimum of 35% marks in their qualifying exam.

Mandatory Subjects:

• Candidates who belong to the NIOS (National Institute of Open Schooling)/APOSS (AP Open School Society)/CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education)/ICSE (Indian Council for Secondary Education)/Other examinations recognized by AP govt.
• Candidates should pass in all subjects, such as Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry, with 35% in each subject.

Appearing Candidates:

• Those appearing in the SSC exam or whose results are awaited or yet to be declared can also apply for this exam.
• Candidates who have a compartment in their SSC exam can also apply, but their compartment should be cleared before the admission procedure.
