Allahabad University, formally known as the University of Allahabad, is one of the most famous universities in Uttar Pradesh. The University offers UG, PG, diploma, and research courses in arts, commerce, law, and sciences.

The university conducts admission exams for various courses called Allahabad University Entrance Exams.

The University performs different tests like UGAT (Under Graduate Admission Test), PGAT (Post Graduate Admission Test), LAT (Law Admission Test), etc.

B.A. Admission Test (Intermediate Standard)

Bachelor of Performing Arts (B.P.A.) Admission Test (Intermediate Level) 

• Theory Test – 150 multiple choice objective questions with maximum marks of 300.
• Practical Test – To be held in the department of music marks 200.

B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) Five-Year Integrated Course Admission Test 

Admission to this course will be done through an Entrance Test held at All India Level by the University as per the norms and guidelines set by the Bar Council of India by its rules and regulations. The admission test shall be of a duration of Two hours and shall comprise three Parts, each with a maximum of 100 marks. The papers shall be:

Format of Admission Test

B.Ed. Admission Test shall have One Question paper for Two hours duration. This question paper shall have two sections. Section One will have 20 items of Hindi Language Comprehension, 20 of English Language Comprehension, 20 on General Knowledge and Current Affairs, 20 on Mental Ability, and 20 on Teaching Aptitude. These 100 Items shall be compulsory.

Section Two will have 50 Items on Subject Content Knowledge.

Every candidate must answer all 50 items from the Arts, Science, or Commerce Streams. Levels of items will be of a three-year degree course of B. A. / B. Sc. / B. Com. of the University of Allahabad.

Items of the Arts stream will be from History, Geography, Political Science, Economics, Hindi Literature, English Literature, and Sanskrit Literature.

Items of the Science stream will be from Physics, Chemistry, Maths, Zoology, and Botany subjects. Candidates must answer 150 items, and each item shall carry 02 marks. (0.5 marks shall be deducted for each wrong answer.) General Knowledge shall be from Indian Social Life, History, Economic Development, Five Year Plans, Education Policy, Literature, Constitution, Sports, Environment, Health, Geography, etc. Items of Mental Ability will include Items from Logical Ability, Relational Thinking,

Symbol Transformation, Abstract Thinking, Classification Ability, inductive,-deductive thinking. Total Questions – 150 Total Marks – 300

Entrance Exam Syllabus:- 

B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) Five-Year Integrated Course Admission Test 

Admission to this course will be done through an Entrance Test online to be held at All India Level and offline in the city of Allahabad at the center/centers allotted by the University of Allahabad. The admission test shall be of a duration of Two hours and shall comprise three Parts, each with a maximum of 100 marks as below :

(i) Language Comprehension: The questions in this part shall aim to test the candidate’s knowledge in English and Hindi, particularly in English Grammar and Composition.

(ii) General Awareness and Current Affairs: The questions in this part aim to test the students’ general knowledge and awareness about current national and international affairs.

(iii) Reasoning, Mental Ability, and Legal Aptitude: The questions in this part shall aim at testing reasoning power, mental ability, and the legal aptitude of the candidate.
