It is affiliated with 40 colleges & located in Karaikudi, Tamil Nadu. The candidate needs to fill out the application for the 2-year Distance Education B. Ed course. Alagappa University 2024 B.Ed Exam Application Form

• Alagappa University B.Ed (Distance Education) 2024 Online Application Form has been released in July 2024.
• The Last Date can be Filled till December 2024.
• Candidates can also download the application form and other details on the website www.alagappauniversity.ac.in and submit the filled-in application with a prescribed fee of Rs.500/- in the form of D.D.E
• The name, address of the candidate, Mobile number, and the name of the program should be written on the reverse side of the crossed Demand Draft.
• The filled-in Application form should be sent to The Director, Directorate of Distance Education, Alagappa University, Karaikudi-630003.

Application fee

• Candidate can get the Prospectus and Application Form then they should send a requisition letter to The Director, Directorate of Distance Education, Alagappa University, Karaikudi-630003 along with a crossed Demand Draft obtained from any Nationalized Bank for Rs.500/- drawn in favor of “The Director, DDE, Alagappa University” payable at Karaikudi.

Alagappa University B.Ed 2024 Eligibility Criteria

Candidate can Check the Complete Eligibility Criteria as given below.

• In-Service Teacher: Trained in-service Teachers in any Government recognized school within Tamil Nadu state who have completed NCTE recognized Teacher Education Program through face-to-face mode / Trained in-service teachers (such as D.T.Ed) in any Government recognized school within Tamil Nadu state.
• Currently Working: Candidates must be presently working as a teacher in a Government recognized school in Tamil Nadu.
• Qualification Required: Candidates should have successfully undergone the 10+2+3 or 11+1+3 pattern of examination in the following disciplines from a recognized University; Tamil (B.A./B.Litt.,) / English / Mathematics/Physics / Applied Physics / Chemistry / Applied Chemistry / Biochemistry / Zoology /Botany / Microbiology / Biotechnology / Environmental Science /History / Geography / Applied Geography / Computer Science /Computer Application / and Information Technology.
• Candidate In case of Economics, Commerce, and Home Science, they should have studied the same subjects at UG and PG levels.

Fee Structure

The provisionally selected candidates should pay the following fee:

• 20,150/- per year in the form of a Demand Draft drawn in the favor of “The Director, Directorate of Distance Education, Alagappa University, payable at Karaikudi.”
• Fees once paid will not be refunded under any circumstances.

Allotments of students to the B.Ed Learning Center

• 50 students are allotted to each B.Ed. Learning Center. The University reserves the right to allow candidates to B.Ed. Learning Center after counseling for admission.
• The decision of the University in this regard is final.
• The University will not permit the selected students to change their Learning Center
