AFCAT (2) 2024 Application Form has been Started on 30th May 2024. The Air Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT) is conducted every year by the Indian Air Force (IAF).

It is a National Level, it offers admission into various posts like that of Flying (Pilot), and Ground Dutymen (Technical & Non-Technical branches) along with NCC Special Entry across India. This test is held twice a year in February & in August.

The application fee is Rs.250/- (rupees two hundred fifty only). To submit form fees use the On-Line payment gateway via Net Banking/ Debit Card/ Credit Card. 

AFCAT 2024 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must check the following details regarding AFCAT 2024 Eligibility Criteria for admission:  

Nationality: Indian National candidates are eligible to apply. 

Academic qualification: Flying Branch, to apply candidates have to Graduation (any discipline) from any recognized. Who holds the degree of B.E./ B. Tech. (duration 4 yrs.) can apply. Candidates who want to apply for their birth date should be between 2nd January 1998 and 1st January 2002 (both dates inclusive).

Age within 20 to 24 years as of 1st July 2024. Applicants have Commercial Pilot License issued by DGCA there will be given relaxation for 26 years. Appearing in the final year of the qualifying examination can also eligible to apply. Interest females or males both applier can apply.

Ground Duty (Technical), to apply candidates must pass the graduation degree or PG qualification in the (Engineering/Technology) from any recognized Institute. Applier birth of date should be between 2nd January 1996 & 1st January 2002 (20 to 26 years as on 1st July 2024).

Ground Duty (Non-Technical), to apply candidates must pass the Graduation degree (any discipline) from any recognized Institute with securing a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent. Applier birth of date should be between 2nd January 1992 and 1st January 2002 (20 to 26 years as on 1st July 2024). Interest females or males both applier can apply.

How to apply

• Selection for the medical exam will be done if the candidates have qualified SSB/Interview before the final letter of joining, based on the merit and performance in the exam candidates will be selected for admission.

• At the time of admission ready the documents of qualification certificates/degree, mark-sheet, and other documents. 
• A note will pop out of paying application fees which is compulsory for registration use the avail online payments gateway. 
• After submission, candidates need to keep a copy of the submitted AFCAT 2024 application form for future use.
