To be eligible to appear for the PDM University 2024 exam, candidates need to fulfill the following criteria:

| BA | The candidates should have passed 10+2 with English as one of the subjects with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate. |
| B.Tech | The Candidate should have passed 10+2 with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects with at least 55% marks in the subjects taken together.

| B.Sc | The Candidate should have passed 10+2 (Science) in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics / Biology with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate. |
| B.Des | The Candidate should have passed 10+2 with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate |
| BA LLB | The Candidate should have passed 10+2 with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate |
| BBA | The Candidate should have passed 10+2 with a minimum of 55% marks in aggregate |
| B.Ed | The Candidates with at least 50% marks either in the Bachelor Degree and or in the Master’s Degree |
| B.Pharm | The Candidate should have passed 10+2 with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects along with one of the following subjects: Mathematics / Biology. with a minimum of 55% marks in aggregate. |
| BDS | The candidate must have passed Senior School Certificate Examination (10+2) with at least 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology took together and must have passed in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English individually in the qualifying examination. |
| B.Com | The Candidate should have passed 10+2 with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate. |
| MDS | The candidate should be passed the BDS exam having a one-year compulsory rotating internship from any dental college recognized by DCI and the candidate should be registered permanently with State Dental Council ⁄ DCI at the time of admission.
NEET-MDS is needed to be given by the students. |
| M.Com | The Candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree in English as one of the subjects with a minimum of 55% marks in aggregate. |
| M.Sc | The Candidate should have passed Bachelor’s Degree with Science as one of the subjects with a minimum of 55% marks in aggregate. |
| MA | The Candidate should have passed Graduation with English as one of the subjects with a minimum of 55% marks in aggregate. |
| M.Tech | The Candidate should have passed B.Tech in the relevant stream. |
| M.Pharm | The Candidate should have passed B.Pharm securing a minimum of 55% marks in aggregate from Recognized Board / University. |
| PhD | The candidates must have passed Post Graduation with 55% marks. |
| Diploma | The candidates must have passed class 10 from a recognized Board. |
