Academic Qualification
  • Candidates who have passed 10+2 or equivalent exam with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects
  • Optional subjects in 10+2 must include Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Computer Science/ Information Practices OR
  • Candidates must have done diploma in any branch of engineering awarded by a State Board of Technical Education
Entrance ExamsCandidates must have cleared the following exams :
  • MU OET 2024
  • JEE Main 2024
  • SMIT B.Tech Admission Test 2024

Candidates appearing in the qualifying examination can also apply for the entrance exam

Percentage of marks in the qualifying exams
  • Candidates belonging to general category must score at least 50% aggregate marks in their qualifying exam subjects that are mentioned in the ‘academic qualification’ section of this table
  • Candidates belonging to SC, ST OBC category must score at least 45% aggregate marks in the 10+2 level
  • Candidates with diploma need to have a minimum 50% aggregate marks for General category candidates and minimum 45% marks for SC/ ST/ OBC candidates

  • Candidates from Bhutan and Nepal are also eligible to appear in SMIT offline exam. If selected, the admission will be given under General Category
