• Subject Requirement: Candidates must have studied Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) as mandatory subjects at the class 12th level.
• Number of Attempts: Candidates are allowed a maximum of two attempts in consecutive years to appear for the JEE Advanced exam.
• Minimum Percentage: Eligible candidates must score a minimum of 75% aggregate marks in class 12th or equivalent examination. For SC, ST, and PWD category candidates, the minimum aggregate marks required are 65%.
• Age Limit: General and OBC category candidates must have been born on or after October 1st, 2000, to be eligible. SC/ST/PWD category candidates are provided with a five-year relaxation in the age limit and must have been born on or after October 1st, 1995.
• JEE Main Performance: To be eligible for JEE Advanced 2026, candidates must be among the top 2.5 lakh JEE Main qualified candidates.
