How to Fill NEST Application Form 2024 (Available) – Step-by-Step Guide Here

NEST 2024 Application Form has been available on 3rd April 2024. Candidates can complete the NEST 2024 Application Form through online mode. The NEST 2024 is a national screening test conducted to offer admission to the institutions of NISER, Bhubaneswar, and UM-DAE-CEBS, Mumbai.

Candidates who wish to apply for NEST 2024 must complete the online application form via the website www.nestexam.in. It is recommended that candidates thoroughly review the comprehensive online application procedure provided on the website, accessible by clicking on the ‘How to Apply online’ section. The deadline for the online application process is May 31, 2024, at midnight.

Applications for NEST 2024 must be exclusively submitted through the NEST 2024 website. No other method of application submission is accepted. Upon online registration, candidates will receive login credentials to access the application submission and fee payment portals. The NEST 2024 Application Form has been published online by the official authority from 3rd April 2024. The deadline to complete the Application Form is 31st May 2024.

Candidates must complete the Application Form with care since the authority does not provide any possibility of correction. Candidates must also pay the application fee to confirm their registration successfully.

NEST 2024 Application Fee

• The application fee for the male candidates of the General and OBC categories is ₹1400/.
• The application fee for candidates in the SC/ST/PwD categories and all-female candidates is ₹700/
• Payments can be made using credit card/debit card/net–banking through the online payment gateway.

NEST 2024 Step-by-Step Application Filling Procedure

Step 1: Registration

Keep these handy before starting the registration and online application:
i. Class 10th marks sheet/report card/certificate.
ii. Digital copy of the passport-size photograph in .jpeg or .jpg format (size limit: 80 kb)
iii. Scanned image of your signature in .jpeg or .jpg format (size limit: 80 kb)

• Once you click the ‘Apply Online’ button on http://www.nestexam.in, you will see an intermediate page asking for ‘New Registration’ and ‘Login.’
• This Registration form will appear in a new tab when you click ‘Get Registered.’

Step 2: Log In

• login credentials: username and password, are sent to the e-mail that you provided during registration (in step 1).
• Click on the link provided in the e-mail or the ‘Login’ button on the NEST website (after ‘Apply Online).

Step 3: Education Details

• Once logged in, information is collected about your details and educational qualifications:

In the personal information tab

Your name, date of birth, Roll no./ Registration no, mobile number and e-mail are pre-filled from the registration information. You cannot edit those. (if you find any of this information is wrongly entered by you and would like to change it, write to nest2021.helpdesk@gmail.com or call 022-61306231 with your user ID, name, the e-mail address used for registration, and the details to be modified).

Note: The helpdesk will send e-mails to only the e-mail address provided at the time of registration.

All form fields with * marks are compulsory. You cannot submit your form with any of these fields left unfilled.

Exam city preference

• Choose your selected city/town from the drop-down list for each preference field (preferences 1 to 5).
• Our efforts will be to allow you a NEST 2024 test centre within your first three preferred cities/towns.
• However, the address of the test centre printed on the hall ticket has to be treated as the final test centre allotted.
  Press ‘SAVE AND NEXT’’ to save the data and move to the ‘Education Qualification Details’ tab.

Educational Qualification Details

• If you are appearing for the Class XII/ 10+2 level exam in 2024, select the year of passing as 2024.
• If the ‘Year of Passing’ is 2024, the ‘Percentage of Marks’ field does not have to be filled.

If you are appearing for the Class XII/ 10+2 level exam in 2024, select the year of passing as 2024, if, the ‘Year of Passing’ is 2024, the ‘Percentage of Marks’ field does not have to be filled.

Upload passport Image and Signature.

Upload a passport picture and a scanned image of your signature by clicking ‘Click Here to upload’ (only .jpeg or jpg extensions are allowed; the size of each file should be less than 80 kb). The photo should have a white background and not be older than six months from the date of application.

Application Fee Payment details

• General and OBC male: 1000 INR;
• Female applicants, SC/ST, and PwD category applicants: 500 INR
• Application fee payment is collected through the SBI payment gateway. You can pay using debit cards/credit cards issued by all major banks or through the net banking facility.

Note: SBI payment gateway and your bank may collect transaction charges, which are typically 1-3% (depending on the bank) of the application fee. On successful transactions, the payment gateway page will revert to the NEST 2024 Application site.

DO NOT press the refresh or back buttons on the payment page. Depending on your network speed, it may take a few minutes for the payment gateway page to show a success message and revert to your NEST 2024 application page. It is advisable to keep the transaction id of the payment written down for easy reference.

In case you do not see a transaction success page on the payment gateway page, DO NOT attempt multiple payments. Please check the cardholder/account holder’s account summary page from your bank site to verify if the money is debited or not. Please refer to the transaction ID and date and time of payment details to help the desk to resolve issues with the payment.

Declaration

Read the declaration and click in the white box next to ‘I agree’ and then ‘Submit.’

Summary page: A summary page will be generated with all the details entered. This completes your application submission.
