• Register to generate a unique User ID and Password: Visit the official CAT website, create a new account, and generate your User ID and Password.
• Log in using the generated User ID and Password: Access your account on the CAT website with your User ID and Password.
• Fill in the application form: Enter all required details accurately, including personal information, academic qualifications, and work experience; upload necessary documents.
• Submit the CAT application form and pay the fee: Review the information, submit the form, and make the online payment to complete the registration and application process.

During registration: The mobile number and email address provided by domestic candidates will be verified through an OTP sent to that mobile number and email address. Once the OTP is verified, the User ID and Password will be sent to the registered email address and/or the registered mobile number to complete the registration process.

Application Form Completion: Applicants can save their progress and return later to complete their CAT 2024 application form in multiple sessions. However, once the payment is made and the application form is submitted, no further changes can be made. Applicants can only view and print the submitted CAT application form thereafter.

Here’s a step-by-step guide on how to fill out the CAT 2024 application form to ensure a smooth application process.

Step 1 – Go to the official IIM CAT 2024 website and Register.

Before completing the CAT 2024 application form, candidates need to visit the official website and provide the following information:

To begin the registration process for CAT 2024, candidates should click on the ‘register‘ tab and provide the following details:

• Candidate’s name (as per Class 10/SSC certificate)
• Date of birth (DOB)
• Email address
• Mobile number (Indian-based 10-digit number)
• OTP (One-Time Password)

To complete the registration process for CAT 2024, students need to follow these steps:

• Click on the tab ‘Generate OTP’ to receive an OTP. Candidates will be redirected to a CAPTCHA page.
• Submit the OTP received on the registered mobile number.
• After entering the OTP, click on the tab ‘Validate OTP’. Students will receive their registration ID and password on the registered email ID and phone number.
• Enter the CAPTCHA and select the ‘I agree’ checkbox in the declaration column.

Confirmation of registration:

Candidates will receive their login details on their registered mobile number and email ID within minutes. If the email does not appear in the inbox, candidates should check their spam folder.

Note: Applicants applying for PGP courses at IIM Kashipur, IIM Raipur, IIM Ranchi, IIM Sirmaur, IIM Tiruchirappalli, IIM Udaipur, IIM Bodh Gaya, IIM Jammu, and IIM Sambalpur must select the same interview city for all choices due to their Common Admissions Process (CAP).

CAT Test City Selection:

Candidates are required to choose any six CAT test cities according to their preference in the application form. One city from the six preferences will be allotted to the student based on availability. If the preferred CAT exam centre city is unavailable, the nearest test city will be allocated.

After selecting the payment mode from any of the following options: BillDesk or PayU, candidates need to enter the displayed captcha characters.

After reviewing the form, candidates must click on “I agree” in the declaration box and then proceed by clicking on “Submit and Pay” to move to the payment gateway.
