• Age Limit: There is no age restriction for candidates applying for the IIFT exam.
• Work Experience: Candidates are not required to have prior work experience to apply for the IIFT exam. However, having work experience may be considered an additional advantage and could influence the selection process during admission.

Academic Qualifications:

• Aspirants must hold a Bachelor’s degree of at least three years in any discipline with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks (45% for SC/ST and PwD candidates) from a recognized university.
• Candidates who are in their final year of graduation can also apply, provided they submit proof of their degree completion before the admission process concludes.

IIFT MBA Eligibility for NRI/Foreign Applicants:

For NRI or foreign applicants seeking admission to the IIFT MBA program in 2025, the following criteria must be met:

• Academic Qualifications: Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree of at least three years’ duration with a minimum aggregate of 50% from a recognized university.
• Final Year Students: Those currently appearing for their qualifying examination can also apply, provided they submit proof of completion.
• Residency Requirement: Candidates must have been residing outside India for at least 18 months. They need to present a certificate from the Indian Embassy, High Commission, or Consulate in the country where they are currently based, confirming their continuous residence during this period.
• GMAT Score: Foreign nationals must take the GMAT exam after January 1, 2024, and submit their GMAT scores to the IIFT authorities.
• Exclusivity of Application: If candidates have appeared for any other MBA entrance exams in India during the same year, they are ineligible to apply to IIFT. They must provide an undertaking confirming this.
• NRI-Sponsored Candidates: NRI-sponsored candidates and children of NRIs are not considered under this category.

IIFT Application Form 2025

The Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT) will release the application form for IIFT 2025 in October 2024, and it will be available online through the official website. Candidates interested in applying should ensure they meet the eligibility criteria before starting their application. The deadline for submitting the IIFT registration form will be in December 2024.
