IIT JAM 2024 Application Correction has been Started on 24th November 2023. Application Form Last Date has been Extended till 25th October 2023. The Indian Institute of Technology Joint Admission Test (IIT JAM) is a national-level entrance exam conducted yearly to provide admission in M.Sc., M.Tech, Dual Degree, Joint M.Sc. PhD, etc., courses. The exam will be conducted on February 11, 2024, and the application form has been Available from September 5, 2023. This year, IIT JAM 2024 will be conducted by IIT Madras. Minimum Marks
Candidates appearing for the IIT JAM 2024 exam must hold a bachelor’s degree in any stream. The minimum percentage required for the exam is 55% for the general category, although there is a relaxation of 5% for SC/ST/PWD candidates. They need to have at least 50% marks in graduation.
Passing Proof,
The passing proof of IIT JAM 2024 is a document that proves that you have passed your qualifying degree. The passing proof can be a mark sheet, a provisional certificate, or a degree certificate. The mark sheet must show that you have passed all the required courses with a minimum of 55% marks in aggregate.
If you are still pursuing your qualifying degree, you must submit a provisional certificate from your university. Physical Fitness
All applicants must submit a physical fitness certificate from a registered medical practitioner at admission. The physical fitness certificate must be dated within one year of admission.
IIT JAM 2024 Exam Pattern
The IIT JAM 2024 Exam Pattern is challenging and requires a strong foundation in science and mathematics. Candidates planning to take the exam should start preparing early and ensure they are familiar with the exam pattern and the types of questions that will be asked. - Mode of exam: The IIT JAM 2024 exam will be conducted online. Candidates can take the exam from any location with an internet connection.

- Medium: The exam will be in English language only. This is the same as the previous exam pattern.
- Total Questions: There will be 60 questions on the exam. This is the same as the previous exam pattern. The questions will be divided into three sections:
- Section A: 30 MCQs, each carrying one mark.
- Section B: 10 MSQs, each carrying two marks.
- Section C: 20 NAT questions, some carrying one mark and some carrying two marks.
- Type of questions: The IIT JAM 2024 exam questions will have three types:
- MCQs: Multiple choice questions are the most common. Each MCQ will have four answer choices, and only one of the choices will be correct.
