NSIT PG Counselling 2024 – Fee, Procedure, Seat Allotment, Schedule

Netaji Subhash Institute of Technology is the main authority that offers a great career to the students in the line of PG (M.Tech) on account of GATE which is held on a national level.

The students get admission on the GATE score. Those wanting to get into full-time and part-time courses will have to take part in the qualifying exam, written exam, and interview. After that, they may proceed with further admission procedures when they have got in the merit list as per marks.

The student will need to bring essential credentials at the time of admission/counseling with Xerox copies.

Documents required for NSIT PG 2024 Counselling

• DD/ Cheque of requisite admission fee
• ID Proof (Aadhar card/ Passport/ Driving licence / PAN card/ Voter ID)
• GATE Score Card
• Marksheet and degree of the qualifying examination
• Printout of the application form duly signed
• Two latest passport size photographs
• 10th class mark sheet/ certificate in support of Date of Birth
• Category certificate (if required)
• Physical Disability Certificate (for PH candidates)

Documents required for Written Test/Interview

• Printout of application form duly signed by the candidate along with a passport size photograph.
• Original receipt of application fee of Rs. 1000/- paid by the candidate and its photocopy.
• Identity Proof (Passport/Aadhar card/Driving licence/Voter ID/ PAN card).
• Original and self-attested copy of GATE Score (if applicable).
• Original and self-attested copy of both Mark sheet and Degree of the qualifying examination.
• Original and self-attested copy of class 10th certificate/ Mark-sheet in support of Date of Birth.
• Proof of CGPA/FGPA conversion to Percentage (if applicable).
• Original and self-attested copy of Caste/ Category certificate

• The seat distribution result will be produced on the first week of July 2024 and on the basis of the merit list, the students are provided with seats. Those who have been chosen will have to go for admission at provided college along with the fee.

The merit list is produced after the students have qualified for the GATE exam and belong to SC, ST, and Physically Disabled.

All selected students will go for counseling to get admission into eight various M.Tech courses provided at NSIT. Those students possessing GATE score and have been selected will be considered for counseling.

The courses provided at NSIT for M.Tech

1. Tech. in Biochemical Engineering under the Division of Bio-Technology
2. Tech. in Signal Processing under the Division of Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE).
3. Tech. in Embedded System & VLSI under the Division of Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE).
4. Tech. in Computer Engineering under the Division of Computer Engineering (COE).
5. Tech. in Process Control under the Division of Instrumentation & Control Engineering (ICE).
6. Tech. in Industrial Electronics under the Division of Instrumentation & Control Engineering (ICE).
7. Tech. in Production Engineering under the Division of Manufacturing & Process Automation Engineering (MPAE).
8. Tech. in Engineering Management under the Division of Manufacturing & Process Automation Engineering (MPAE).

• It is mandatory for the students to take part in the written test/interview for full-time and part-time courses.
• An individual merit list is produced as per GATE marks for those who are under General/ST/SC and Physically Challenged Students.
• After getting selected by the selection department, the selected students will be given admission in the desired course.
