Admission to engineering courses is offered based on entrance examinations at the national level (JEE Main) and the state level (MH CET). Most universities accept the MH CET marker for admission to the B.Tech course. Applicants also apply for the university-level exam, such as BVP CET. Candidates are not considered for counselling and admission without showing up on the entrance examination. The GATE entrance exam offers admission to M.Tech.

The minimum grades are 45% (40% for candidates in the reserved category).

Selection Procedure

Candidates will be pre-selected for the meeting based on merit prepared by the respective authority. The places in the engineering schools will be awarded based on the classification obtained by the candidates for the entrance examination and the availability of places.

The counselling process will include online registration, the course and university completion, the allocation of vacancies and reports to the designated university. After verification of the document, the authority will issue the letter of attribution of the seat to the candidate. This award letter lets applicants inform the designated institution and present the admission fees.
