The GATE 2025 Score Card is scheduled to be released in March 2025. It will be accessible only to those candidates who achieve scores above the qualifying marks established by the GATE 2025 committee. • MijM_{ij}Mij​ = Actual marks obtained by the jjj-th candidate in the iii-th session
• Mˉgt\bar{M}_{gt}Mˉgt​ = Average mark of the top 0.1% of candidates across all sessions
• MgqM_{gq}Mgq​ = Sum of the mean and standard deviation marks of all candidates across all sessions
• Mˉti\bar{M}_{ti}Mˉti​ = Average mark of the top 0.1% of candidates in the iii-th session
• MiqM_{iq}Miq​ = Sum of the mean and standard deviation of the iii-th session

This formula converts a candidate’s raw marks into normalized marks, which are then used to calculate their GATE score.

Where:

• M = Marks obtained by the candidate (actual marks for single-session papers and normalized marks for multi-session papers)
• M_q = Qualifying mark for general category candidates in the paper
• M_t = Mean of marks of the top 0.1% or top 10 candidates (whichever is larger) for the paper, considering all sessions if applicable
• S_q = 350, the score assigned to MqM_qMq​
• S_t = 900, the score assigned to MtM_tMt​
