JIPMER 2022 MBBS NEET Counseling has been Started on 11th October 2022. through NEET (UG) The JIPMER is an entrance exam that was commonly known as the Jawaharlal Institute of Post Graduate Medical Education and Research. But then later on the JIPMER (Jawaharlal Institute of Post Graduate Medical Education and Research) entrance exam got replaced by the NEET entrance exam. 

Earlier the official authorities of the Jawaharlal Institute of Post Graduate Medical Education and Research used to conduct the JIPMER entrance exam in the institution only but not the Government of India has formed the NTA (National Testing Agency) will be responsible to conduct the entrance exam for the JIPMER admission process.

JIPMER 2022 Application Form

In the below section we have listed the basic information about the process of filling the JIPMER 2022 Application Form for the reference of those applicants who want to apply for the entrance exam.

JIPMER 2022 Application fee

• The applicants who belong to the Person with Disabilities (PwD) category are exempted from making the payment of the JIPMER 2022 Application fee.

• The JIPMER 2022 Application fee will different for each courses and category of the applicants. 
• The official authorities of the institution will not be responsible to refund the JIPMER 2022 Application fee to the applicants back once it is paid. 

JIPMER 2022 Eligibility Criteria

The official authorities will be providing admission to those applicants who will meet the JIPMER 2022 Eligibility Criteria set by the institution. So for the reference of the applicants, in the below given section we have listed the basic information about the JIPMER 2022 Eligibility Criteria. 

Nationality:

• Indian citizens are only eligible to apply for the admission process

NRI:

• The NRI that is the Non Residential Indians are also eligible to apply for the admission process but they must have been registered under the Section 7 A of citizenship Act 1955.

Foreign Nationals:

• The foreign national applicants are also eligible to apply for the admission process but for that they need to take permission from the Medical council of India. 

Lower Age limit:

• The official authorities have decided that the lower category of the applicants to apply for the admission process is not less than 17 years of age at the time of admission. 

Age relaxation:

• The applicants who belong to the reserved category have no age relaxation in the lower age limit. 

Educational Qualification:

• The applicants must have completed the HSC exams (Class 12th) with 10 + 2 system of education from a recognized state board of education in order to get admission in the institution. 

Stream:

• It is mandatory for the applicants to complete their qualifying exam in Science stream. 

Mandatory Subjects:

• The applicants must have completed their qualifying exam with physics, chemistry, and any one of biology / biotechnology as mandatory subjects in the HSC exams. 

Minimum Marks – general category applicants:

• The applicants who belong to the general category must have secured minimum 50 % marks in the qualifying exam in total in order to get admission. 

Minimum Marks – reserved category applicants:

• The applicants who belong to the reserved category like SC / ST / OBC / OPH must have secured minimum 40 % marks in the qualifying exam in total in order to get admission. 

Appearing applicants:

• Those applicants are also eligible to apply who are appearing for the final year exam of the Class 12th or are waiting for the results to be appeared of Class 12th at the time of admission. 

JIPMER 2022 Exam Pattern

In the below given section the applicants will be able to get a rough idea about the JIPMER 2022 Exam Pattern of the NEET entrance exam such as the mode of the exam, duration of the exam, language of the exam, number of questions, type of questions, total marks, marking scheme, negative markings and many more. 

• Mode of Exam: The applicants will have to appear for the entrance exam in offline mode that is pen and paper based test. 
• Number of shifts: The entrance exam will be conducted in two different shifts. 
• Duration of Exam: Applicants will get 180 minutes in total to complete the question paper of the entrance exam
• Language of Exam: The question paper will be set in 11 different languages including English, Hindi by the official authorities
• Total Number of Questions: Total 180 questions will be asked in the entrance exam question paper by the official authorities for the applicants to answer
• Total Marks: The entrance exam will be conducted for maximum 720 marks in total in the question paper.  
• Type of Questions: MCQ (Multiple choice question) type objective questions will be asked in the entrance exam question paper
• Marking Scheme: Each correct answer given in the entrance exam will be awarded with four marks. 
• Negative Marking: Incorrect answers given in the entrance exam will deduct one marks by the official authorities
• Subject: The entrance exam will contain question papers on the basis of the subjects as mentioned below
• Physics 
• Chemistry
• Biology (Botany + Zoology)

JIPMER 2022 Merit List 

The official authorities will take the responsibility of preparing the JIPMER 2022 Merit List for the eligible applicants who have appeared for the entrance exam. Such applicants are instructed to go through the details that we have mentioned below in this section about the JIPMER 2022 Merit List.  

The official authorities will scrutinize the application forms received after the submissions made by the applicants.  And on scrutinizing the application form, the official authorities will short list those applicants who have secured higher marks in the NEET entrance exam. Such applicants will be able to get admission in the institution through the counselling session. The names of the shortlisted applicants will be made available in the JIPMER 2022 Merit List. 

And for the reference of the qualified applicants the official authorities will release the JIPMER 2022 Merit List in the official website of the university in online mode only. The applicants can login to the official website with the help of their login credentials and check the JIPMER 2022 Merit List.  The applicants also need to check the official website for more details regarding the further admission procedures.

JIPMER 2022 Counselling Session 

In order to provide admission to the eligible applicants, the official authorities will organize a JIPMER 2022 Counselling Session. The applicants are recommended to go through the information that we have provided below in this section in order to get the details about the JIPMER 2022 Counselling Session. In order to provide admission to the applicants in the institution the official authorities will organize an online JIPMER 2022 Counselling Session. 

In the JIPMER 2022 Counselling Session the applicants will be provided admission on completion of the various rounds such as the written exam, document verification, seat allotment and many more. The official authorities will allot seats to the applicants on the basis of the marks secured by the applicants in the entrance exam, vacant seats, eligibility criteria, reservation criteria and many more. 

The applicants are instructed to provide all the original and attested copies of the important documents for the document verification process to the official authorities in the JIPMER 2022 Counselling Session. On completion of the JIPMER 2022 Counselling Session the applicants will get admission in the institution. The applicants are requested to report to the allotted institution and complete the further admission formalities.
