IISER Admission 2022 5th Round Seat Allotment has been released on 5th October 2022. Online Registration for KVPY & JEE Advanced Channel has been Started on 11th September 2022. The result has been Declared on 12th August 2022. Final Answer Key has been Started on 28th July 2022. The Examination was held on 3rd July 2022. The IISER 2022 is an admission process that is followed by the aptitude test. The IISER is commonly known as the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research. The official authorities of the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research will provide admission to the applicants through three channels that are SCB, KVPY, and JEE Advanced entrance exams. 

The IISER 2022 entrance exam will also be conducted at the national level every year. The applicants will be able to get admission in 5 – a year dual degree course of BS-MS through the IISER SCB Aptitude Test. With the help of the IISER 2022, the applicants will be able to get admission in to seven IISER institutions which are located in Tirupati, Mohali, Bhopal, Berhampur, Kolkata, Thiruvananthapuram, and Pune.

IISER 2022 Eligibility Criteria

• Nationality:

• For the entrance exam, the Indian nationals, Person of Indian Origin (PIO), Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) applicants are only eligible to apply. 

Age limit:

• The applicants must be more than 17 years of age at the time of admission as on December 2022. 

For KVPY Channel:

• In order to apply for the KVPY channel the applicants must hold a valid KVPY Fellowship commencing for the year 2022 – 2022.

For JEE Advanced Channel:

• The applicants who hold a valid JEE Advanced 2022 scorecards will be eligible to appear for the entrance exam. 

For SCB Channel:

• The applicants must have qualified HSC exams from a recognized state board of education in order to apply for the SCB channel. 

IISER 2022 Exam Pattern

• Mode of Exam: In online mode, the entrance exam will be held by the official authorities in computer based test.

• Total Number of Questions: 15 questions will be asked in each subjects in the entrance exam. 60 questions will be asked in total in the entrance exam. 
• Total Marks: 45 marks will be provided for each subject in the entrance exam conducted by the official authorities. The entire entrance exam will be conducted for 180 marks in total. 
• Marking Scheme: 3 marks will be allotted to the applicants who have given correct answers in the entrance exam. 
• Negative Marking: Each wrong answer will deduct 1 marks in the entrance exam.
