SAAT 2025 Exam Details Pattern
SAAT exam pattern 2025 helps the candidates to get the details about the structure of the exam. The examination pattern varies according to the course.
- Question Paper Type: All the questions that will appear in the examination are of objective type.
- Number of Questions: 120 questions will be asked on the M.Tech exam. The question paper of B.Tech will include questions from Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics subjects.

- Duration: The examination will be of 2 hours.
- The medium of Question Paper: The language of the question paper will be English.
- Marking Scheme: Each correct response is followed by four marks.

Exam Instruction For Candidates
- The SAAT 2025 online examination will be held at different centres per the schedule.
- The medium of examination is English.
- The examination hall shall open to the candidates half an hour before the examination. No candidate will be allowed to enter the examination hall without a valid admit card and original ID proof submitted at the time of application.
- Candidates must take their respective seats at least 15 minutes before the commencement of the examination, strictly according to the sitting chart notified earlier by the Centre Superintendent.
- A candidate shall not be allowed to enter the examination hall after the examination starts.
- The candidate has to sign with their full signature in Attendance Roll sheets provided by the Director (Admissions) against their Roll Numbers 15 minutes before the commencement of the examination.
- Do not carry any of your belongings inside the exam centre, including mobile phones, cellular phones, pagers, palmtops, blue tooth devices, or any electronic device that has the potential of misuse in cheating or unauthorized communication during the examination.
- You must produce your Hall Ticket and ID proof (which bears your photograph and date of birth) at the registration desk, without which entry will not be allowed.
- At the registration desk, your identity is varied; the Hall Ticket is scanned, and the photograph captured. For rough work, a blank sheet will be provided. All rough work needs to be done on the blank sheet only.
- The administrator is authorized to dismiss you from the rest session of the examination for any of the following reasons: Creating disturbance, Attempting to take the test on behalf of someone else, Talking to other examinees, Attempting to tamper with the computer system – either hardware or software, If found with calculators, slide rules, pagers, cell phones, concealed microphones, wireless devices or any other material that may aid in answering questions, In addition, specific instructions mentioned by invigilators to be followed during the entrance examination.
- No candidate will be allowed to leave the hall until the examination ends. Ordinarily, no candidate shall be allowed to leave the hall temporarily during the examination.
- Candidates are not permitted to talk to each other in the examination hall. No one should receive any help from or assist another in any manner.
- Malpractice in any form detected during or after the examination would lead to not only cancellation of candidature but also more severe punishment as deemed fit by the SAAT 2025 committee.
- A candidate wishing to say anything should stand up in their seat and remain standing till the invigilator attends to them. They should never leave their seat or make any noise to draw the invigilator’s attention.
- In any other matter not mentioned in these rules, the Centre Superintendent is empowered to make necessary decisions.
- Candidates suffering from any disease that renders their presence in the examination hall undesirable in the interest of other candidates will not ordinarily be allowed to enter the hall. Candidates are not allowed to have substitute writers, normally.
- A candidate wishing to say anything should stand up in their seat until the invigilator attends to them. They should never leave their seats or make noise to draw the invigilator’s attention.
Offline Exam Instruction
- No candidate can leave the hall without surrendering their question booklet and answer sheet until the examination ends. Ordinarily, no candidate shall be allowed to leave the hall temporarily during the examination.
- Candidates should bring black/blue ball pens, HB pencils for writing, and blackening the circles. Books, printed papers (other than their Admit Cards), manuscripts, or electronic gadgets such as mobile phones, cell phones, electronic diary calculators, etc., should not be taken into the examination hall.
- The candidates are advised to check the perfectness of the question booklet and answer sheet before attempting to answer. Suppose page/pages are missing, torn, or not in order. In that case, the candidates should immediately report to the invigilator and get a fresh question-answer book issued after surrendering the defective ones.
