Indian Institute of Technology, Ropar is one of the eight new IITs established by the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Government of India, to extend the reach and improve the quality of technical education in a country. This institute is committed to giving state-of-the-art technical instruction in a wide range of fields as well as for facilitating the flow of knowledge by the most recent developments in pedagogy.

At the moment, the institute is offering a Bachelor of Technology (B. Tech.) program in the following areas: Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Electrical Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering. This program is spread throughout a period of eight semesters.

IIT Ropar 2025 Application Form

IIT Ropar Admission 2025 Application Form will be Released for Various Courses. It is mandatory to register on the website to fill the application form. So, applicants for first register themselves and then proceed further. Eternal University Application Form will be at the official site. photocopy of the application form, recognition slip, fee payment Challan, migration certificate and another important certificate

• Candidates should provide their personal and educational detail in the application norm.
• On when you click on, the application form appears on the screen. Candidates have to insert all necessary details in the shape like personal details, course details, academic qualification details, communication details, etc while filling out the Application Form.
• Candidates must type their name, email Id, mobile number, gender, etc to register and to generate their application number and log-in information.
• Moment of filling the application form, applicants need to complete the exam city center and upload the digital copies of their passport size photographs and signature in .jpeg or .jpg format (size limit: 100 kb).
• Collect the printout of the Application Form and then hold it till admission.

IIT Ropar 2025 Eligibility Criteria

Only applicants who comply with the prescribed eligibility criteria can apply and be displayed for the test. Eligibility criteria will detail the citizenship, the age limit of candidates as did the qualifying exam studied, topics and pass percentage for doing the same.

IIT Ropar 2025 Result

IIT Ropar 2025 Admissions Process

It is a two-stage process. One should be eligible for the JEE (Main) exam and then take the JEE (Advanced) exam. One must have made sure at least 75% marks (65% for SC/ ST/ PwD) in Class XII OR One must be within a category-wise top 20 percentile in his/ her corresponding Class XII board examination. Admissions are carried out based on rank in JEE Advanced through JoSAA Counselling.

• 100% Tuition Fee exemption for SC/ST/PH students.
• Full remission of tuition for General and OBC students whose family income is not more than Rs.1 lakh per annum.
• Remission of 2/3rd of tuition for General and OBC students whose family income is between Rs.1 lakh for Rs.5 lakh per annum.
