IIT Jodhpur Admissions to the B.Tech. The course is delivered through JEE Main and for M.Sc through IIT-JAM entrance examination has been carried out at various centers throughout India. For the M.Tech program, aspirants have to be eligible for the GATE. Admission to the Ph.D. program is based on the performance in the entrance exam conducted by the institute.

IIT Jodhpur 2025 Application Form

IIT Jodhpur Admission 2025 Application Form will be Released for Various Courses. Applicants are required to pay the processing fee of INR 300 for General and OBC applicants and INR 150 for SC, ST, and PWD candidates.

Applicants nominated for the written test and or interview will be required to bring in the final Application Form duly signed together with a copy of your valid GATE/ JAM/ Equivalent entrance examination scorecard at the time of written examination or interview.

Ph.D	Engineering	Masters in Engineering/ Technology/ Medical Services/ Veterinary Sciences/ Pharmacy with minimum CPI 6.5 or 60% marks or Bachelors in Engineering/ Technology/ Medical Services with 70% marks or CPI of 7.5	Based on the research entrance test & followed by a stringent selection process at IIT Jodhpur.
	Science	Masters in Engineering/ Technology/ design with 6.5 CPI or 60% marks. The candidates with qualifying degrees of B.Tech/ B.E/ B.Des/ B.Sc from IIT need to have a minimum CPI of 7.0.
	Humanities and Social Science	M.A/ M.Com/ M.Tech/ ME with CPI of 6.5 or 60% marks or B.E/ B.Tech/ Bachelors in Medical services with 70% marks or 7.5 CPI. The candidates having an M.Sc degree as the qualifying degree need to have 60% marks or CPI of 6.5.

For MBA

IIT Jodhpur is going to offer MBA programs with differences. It remains is a two-year program, where the first year will be developed the foundation courses and the second year will be available to earn specialization into cutting-edge areas.

For B.Tech

IIT Jodhpur offers B.Tech in 4 specialities such as Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Biotechnology, and Computer Science & Engineering with a duration of 4 years or 8 half years. Admission to the B.Tech courses is made on the basis of JEE Main and JEE Advanced carried out by the IIT. Merit list will be established based on JEE Main, JEE Advanced & 10+2 marks followed by counselling.

For M.Tech/ M.Tech+Ph.D.

Admission to the M.Tech or M.Tech+Ph.D. course is awarded based on GATE. The institute provides the M.Tech program in 6 specialties, viz Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Bioscience & Bio-Engineering, and Computer Science & Engineering, Mathematics, as well as Metallurgical and Materials Engineering.

For M.Sc

Admission to M.Sc Programs is made once each year (in July) through the all-India level Joint Admission Test for Masters (JAM) carried out by the IITs in 3 specialisms offered, namely Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.

For Doctoral Program

These courses are provided to candidates who have previously attained a Master’s degree in their relevant fields. The institute is offering a Ph.D. in 9 majors from different fields of Science, Engineering, Humanities & Social Science.

For Ph.D. programs

candidates are chosen based on a written test followed by one interview, based on their performance in GATE, CSIR NET, UGC NET & marks in the qualifying examination.
